I dyed my hair a red colour a couple weeks ago and it has already faded. I know red hair fades easy. What shampoo and conditioner is best to use?Best shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair?
L'Oreal Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner.
It's brilliant.
It keeps colour in and makes your hair look bright and shiny.
It's not expensive and if you're looking for it in a shop it is in a red bottle.
Mine is dyed red by the way. :)Best shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair?
make sure you find a shampoo/conditioner that has NO sulfates. Sulfates strip the hair, drying it out and fading it. Alot of the cheap ones have those in them (like head and shoulders).
I personally like a line called Pureology. You can buy them at a nice salon, online, or at Ulta. They are a little pricey depending on which one you get. I have the purple bottled one and the gold bottled one that ranged from $25-50 per bottle. It makes my hair so soft, shiny and healthy looking.
I also like a brand called Ojon, that is at Sephora but its more of a natural line made from some nuts in a jungle or something. So im not so sure as to its anti-color fading properties but it is a good line also.Quite moisturizing and not too expensive.
My hair colorist/stylist uses a brand called Bumble and Bumble at the salon and I like their styling products quite well. One called ';Brillitine'; and i like their wax. Not expensive. I have heard of them before and the shampoo/cond products are good.
Another one Im going to buy next is called Wen. Ive seen it on QVC and a infomercial. Im not sure where else it can be purchased but its supposed to be every hair product you could need rolled into one. (like shampoo, conditioner, and all your styling products)
Red hair is probably hard to keep true though no matter what line you use. I personally just dont care for the cheap wal mart stuff anymore though. I get highlights and brown color quite often.
i have had trouble with my hair recently i have tyred loads from the shops . Then someone on here said redken r good went to salon and got some it is good it cost more but u only need a little bit they have one for coloured hair u can get it on the net 2
Dyed?
use TIMOTE. erm i cant spell it TIMOTAY. its pronounced like that lol , my hairdressers sold my a bottle to keep the max amount of dye in my hair as possible without damaging it , it also makes your hair silky and shiney and smooth ! gd luck xox
i haven't used that many but my two favourite i have used are nicky clark or andrew collinge. Andrew collinge is the best one its affordable and really good you can buy it from shops like asda and tesco etc.
if you can get a colour booster from the salon to re-do your hair with the red every few weeks, and its best to get a salon shampoo and conditioner, you'll have to pay more but its worth it :)
I like John Frieda's shampoo and conditioner for red hair
boost the color with a color wash ( non peroxide) like natural instincts every 2 weeks
you might want to find a color-safe shampoo and conditioner. redken color extend works well.
Sunsilk Passionately Red, It will help bring out the colour more %26amp; will give it a nice radiant glow :)!
