Best shampoo and conditioner?

I have blonde, thin, medium lenght hair. I also dye it, What is the best shampoo and conditioner for me?Best shampoo and conditioner?
Pureology.

The volume one-its in the pink bottle. It has won a lot of awards for best products.

It will give you volume with out without making your hair feel dried, crunchy, or damaged. It also has a colour protector in your hair to make the colour last longer and not fade. Unlike many other shampoos and conditioners, it does not have any sulfates which blow open the cuticle, damage the hair, and fade the colour. Your hair feels so soft after you use it. Your stylist will love you.

Only buy it from a licensed cosmetologist or a beauty supply, don't buy it from somewhere like Target-that stuff is years old.

It costs a little more that most shampoos because there is a special way to use it. Get your hair totally soaked and your hands wet. Pour only a dime/pea size amount into your hands. Mix it in your hands until it is sudsy and put it on your hair starting at the dirtiest place. Do the same for the conditioner. It costs a little more because it will literally take you a year to finish the regular 8.5 oz shampoo and 10 oz conditioner, if you use it right.Best shampoo and conditioner?

Suave
ive heard the sap moss shampoo by aveda is great !

i have had my hair frosted for awhile now,and i have used alot of shampoo's and conditioners, and mean alot. but the best i found was suave. they work very well and they don't cost an arm and a leg to buy.they are great.i hope you try them.
pantene blond hair shampoo %26amp; conditioner
Matrix Shampoo and Conditioner
I suggest using something moisturizing with a UV filter so your color won't fade...As far as the drugstore shampoos and conditioners go Loreal Colour Vive is good. If you're willing to pay a little more then Paul Mitchell for color treated hair is great.
I have very thin hair and I use all the Aussie Volume products. I love them.

  • My mom bought super skinny shampoo/conditioner but it makes my hair feel greasy?!?

I dont know why but every time I use it in the shower (of course) My hair will just feel very greasy and thick (like how it feels if you put a lot of gel in it) instead of smooth and clean. Why is that?!

    PS:

I have long thin hair but i have a ton of it.My mom bought super skinny shampoo/conditioner but it makes my hair feel greasy?!?
Maby your not rinsing it well.

Or maby thats how it is.

Or maby you put too much.

Or maby it was built that way to make your hair better.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>My mom bought super skinny shampoo/conditioner but it makes my hair feel greasy?!?
It could just be that you'r not rinsing well enough, I've had shampoos do this to me before,

even though it feels like you've rinsed it all out, you haven't, and you just need to rinse for a lot longer, or use a little bit less.

Sometimes though, shampoos just don't agree with your hair, if you try rinisng really well or using less and it doesn't work, then that shampoo probably just isn't best for your hair.

Well, use Pantene, it is really good and makes your hair silky, smooth, and shiny!
    Its personal prefence, but I LOVE : Biolage/Redken/Paul Mitchell/Nexxus, and for chreaper stuff ; Tresseme/Pantene Pro-V.

just experiment until you find what you like.
Love Punk i don't understand your english.
There are special shampoos for people with curly hair. Check out the Redkin line, I think they sell it at Target, as well as salons. I've been using Biolage Hydrating Shampoo for about 14 years, but I have very dry hair. I also use Biolage conditioning balm, which is very thick and my hair is never frizzy. Put some products in while your hair is still wet. I like Alterna's Straightening Balm because I have naturally curly hair.
    head %26amp; shoulders is good

    Good shampoo and conditioner?

really you have to know more about your hair. Do you have an oily scalp or a dry one? Straight or curly?

some products you should never use

Pantene - panthenol is bad for your hair and guess what its full of? It will weigh your hair down and some people had static problems with it.

Head and Shoulders - dry dry dry dry. This stuff caused flakes on me and a few other people I know.

Some awesome brands that I like.

Redkin - great stuff (think I spelled it wrong). very very high class stuff.

Paul Mitchell - also great stuff thats high class.

Generic - yes its a brand very similar to PM but cheaper.

Aussie - good smell plus it left my hair nice and tangle free. I am currently using it. cheap too

TRESemme - spelled wrong too? It is cheap like aussie and I basically got the same results from it. However it has more of a salon smell. Usually around the same price as Aussie too.

also you can try making your own stuff. I use a mix between Aussie and stuff I make at home. I usually use Aussie when I know my boyfriend will be over soon (so I spell pretty) and homemade stuff when he won't be around for a while (so usually).

EDIT: also main N tail (also called Main N tail %26amp; Body). Very cheap and an awesome conditioner and shampoo. I used it for years and my hair was very long and soft. However sometimes it can be hard to find.
BUMBLE %26amp; BUMBLE. i swear by this. im telling you, it's so worth the high price. try the Gentle shampoo and the SuperRich conditioner.

Biolage is just as good. their shampoo will do amazing things to your hair!

so is Paul Mitchell. especially his conditioners. good luck!
Tresemme Anti-Breakage is a really good conditioner. Its smells good and makes your hair really soft! I would recommend a tea tree oil shampoo, it usually works well with any hair type and is really good for your scalp.
PAUL MITCHELL SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS ARE THE BEST.. THEY ALSO HAVE GOOD HAIR TREATMENTS FOR DAMAGED HAIR AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THEY ARE KINDA EXPENSIVE BUT IT WORKS SO I THINK IS WORTH IT!!
    John Frieda's Root Awakening.

it's great for sensitive, dry, weak hair, and smells delish.

I find a really good shampoo/conditioner , and after using it for a month or so, it makes my hair greasy, why?

Phwooooaaarr - you are gorgeous! Anyway, as with everything, initial exposure to something new will provide better results than continued usage. If we were ever to meet, it would be great for about 8 years, then you would get bored and move on.

You can find me on h mail if you wanna try it out!I find a really good shampoo/conditioner , and after using it for a month or so, it makes my hair greasy, why?
my hairdresser told me you should switch regularly

i buy a couple of brands and switch every washI find a really good shampoo/conditioner , and after using it for a month or so, it makes my hair greasy, why?
Do you know that you are not suppose to use the same

shampoo all the time, you are suppose to switch off between two diffrent shampoo's and conditioners.
Try using a natural shampoo - one without all Sodium Laurel Suphate and other chemicals - and you may see an improvement.

Actually - most people don't realise their hair, unlike their skin, is self-cleaning - just rinse with water.

Our bodies are often better without additives being added - your everyday deodorant contains aluminium derivatives - whereas there are natural ones available.

My hair and scalp really suffered using 'normal' shampoo and my skin suffered with various deodorants - until I switched. Don't think ';The Body Shop'; will supply what you want - theirs have pretty much every additive - but in smaller bottles at higher prices. ;-)
It could be what you're eating as what you feed you're body reflects in the condition of your hair and skin.
I had the same problem all the time and have gone through loads of different shampoos and conditioners (find the seperate ones best) How often do you wash your hair??? I was washing and conditioning mine every morning and by the end of the day it looked greasy, Stopped washing it so often but dropped down to every two days and havent had problems since.
    Maybe you're Italian
Yes, this seems a common problem. I don't know if this will help you personally but I have found an occasional shampoo using SureCare Sensitive (found in the household section of a supermarket) really does get a beautiful shine back to my hair, squeaky clean in seconds, no repeat shampooing needed. A good conditioner afterwards and my hair feels and looks brilliant!
Build-up. Once a week or so use a stripping type shampoo. You can use something like Nutrogena or you could use something super cheap like Prell. Prell is so tough it could be used to strip wax off a floor.
Just try using a variety of brands and alternating through them, or I beleive fruictus(spelling) has a shampoo out for hair just like yours check it out.
You become used to the product, so it no longer has the same effect. Change the products you use regularly to avoid this happening.
I know I go through this, Try using a few different shampoos every day, I usually have 3 in my shower to choose from:

I not sure why this happens I think your hair just gets bogged down with th esame chemicals and just reacts weird!

Try this it helps, and your hair always look great !
Your hair gets used to it, you should change the shampoo you use every few months
Most products are petroleum based. It builds up on the hair. Aveda is a great line, they don't use petroleum.
make sure after the conditioner wash off really well some time left over condition leave your hair look and feel greasy,if that don't work just change the brand of shampoo and condition.
This is a little confusing, but there is a certain type of bacteria in your hair (dont worry, everyone has them) that causes it to grease up, like a couple days after you dont take a shower. Once you start a new shampoo, your hair bactria is shocked by this an basicly goes away. Then, over a time pierod, your hair bacteria will mutate and devolop an imunity to the new shampoo cleaning power. This happened to me too. Until I tried Brilliant Brunette. It really works and is worth the 10 dollars.
Who cares...you would still look stunning anyway.
    Make sure you rinse thoroughly
Just get a fewe of them %26amp; switch off every now %26amp; then. Rinse well, you may have very soft water. Sometimes that feels like it never rinses soap off...
probably i thing the shamboo not supporting your hair...........i mean some shamboos don't support....any way ask any hairdresser
you are probably not washing it properly
same reason most people have to change their deodorant every few months, your body just gets used to the product. Try changing up your routine by switching the combo once or twice a week. And you're not washing your hair every day are you? That strips all the natural oils out and your glands will most likely overproduce oil to compensate for the loss.

What shampoo and conditioner helps fried hair?

Aussie products I heard are really great. What shampoo and conditioner helps fried hair?
It depends on what caused the hair to be fried. If your hair is chemically damaged and very dry you need to use a moisturising shampoo (Paul MItchell Awapuhi) followed by a reconditioning treatment (Paul Mitchell Hair Repair reconditioner). If the hair has become stretchy and lacking in elasticity you will need a product with a low ph, Applying lemon juice to the hair after shampooing and leaving it on the hair for 5 - 10 mins will give an almost instant improvement to the elasticity of the hair.

If your hair is damaged from using styling tools such as a hairdryer, straighteners or even everyday brushing and the ends of the hair are split then the only way to improve the condition is to cut off the split ends. What shampoo and conditioner helps fried hair?
nothing really fixes fried hair, but a haircut or trim, a spray from pantene does help prevent fried hair, i straighten my hair almost everyday and have noticed an amazing improvement in the smoothness because of the product.
    Biolage.... it's amazing.

    Don't use store bought brands...

What's a good shampoo and conditioner?..?

I have very wavy hair, it gets dry and frizzy easily. I want less frizzy, dead looking hair! %26gt;:/ Nothing is working for me, any suggestions? Also, how long do you leave your shampoo/conditioner in before washing it out ( if at all ) and what do you do to make sure you wash ALL of your hair enough. Maybe i'm just doing something wrong. What's a good shampoo and conditioner?..?
ok i use Tresseme RELIGIOUSLY and it really works, just wet ur hair, add enough shampoo for a thick lather, and rinse, then put in enough conditioner to make ur hair feel slimy, i usually put that in, shave my legs and wash my body then completely rinse off.... dont rinse 100% of the conditioner out... leave a little in, if ur wierd about that, then rinse it al and put in a leave-in conditioner when u get out, just towel dry ur hair some and add just a small amount... and style as usual... good luck!!!What's a good shampoo and conditioner?..?
i use the go fresh stuff from dove.

    shampoo and conditioner.

then i blow dry it with a brush and it makes my hair less frizzy.

i get every single spot and leave shampoo in for 3 seconds, and conditioner in for 1 min.

    good luck =]
I use Tresemmee or however you spell it...it's the one that's ';made by professinals and used by you'; or whatever...it leaves my hair silky and non-frizzy...if you have frizzy hair i recommend the one for coloured or damaged hair...it helps get rid of the friz...i used to have such frizzy hair, and my hair, like yours is wavy, but i wash it, then blow dry it and then straighten it with my hair straightener...it works really good...i just straighten it because i think i look better with straight hair...not because my hair is frizzy. I leave the shampoo in for like a second, then i wash it out, but for the conditioner i leave it in for like 5 or 10 mins so that my hair can like absorb the conditioner...to make sure i get all the conditioner out, i run my hands through my hair and part it like all these different ways with my hands to make sure that it's all gone, you shouldn't wash it ALL out though, leave a little bit in your hair so that it keeps it soft and silky...
I use Pantene CURLS shampoo and conditioner. I shampoo and wash it out, then put the conditioner on for about 5 minutes and wash it out. Works for me...and it smells really good! :D
i use Aussie Moist shampoo and Garnier Fructisse Shine Burst Conditioner. It works wonders. I usually lather my hair with the shampoo then leave it in for like 30 seconds and rinse. I always repeat the shampoo a second time. Then I put in the conditioner and leave it in for at least 3 minutes. Then rinse and blowdry it always looks really good. Hope i helped
Aussie is a really good brand. :) It's the one in the all purple bottles and if you've seen the commercials, the one with the (really fake LOL) purple plush kangaroo hanging out with supermodels.

    I don't know if this will help (I have naturally straight hair), but I usually try to coat my hair in shampoo (like run my fingers with some shampoo on them through my hair) and lather for like, twenty seconds before rinsing. As for the conditioner, I start by massaging into my scalp and again, coating my hair with it, only this time, I leave it in for about a minute or two. Honestly, I try to wash like 98.9% (guess) of the conditioner out, because it keeps the moisture or shine in. Like, you know you've over-washed if your hair feels all rough and ';sticky.';

Oh, and Sunsilk is okay too. Actually, to control hair, I use at least three different brands, and you know, alternate from time to time.

Sorry if it's long, but I hope it helps.

  • Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and conditioner?

Does this product work? Does it get rid of split ends and dryness?Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and conditioner?
    basically no.

Nothing gets rid of split ends apart from regular trimming.

If your hair is dry then you need a good moisturising product. Pantene products contain silicone thats what they add to try %26amp; make the hair shine, it weighs down the hair to try make it lie flat, in a lot of cases this does not work, in other cases it just makes the hair limp %26amp; greasy.

pantene is really bad. its made of a lot of alcohol so it will eventually dry out your hair. try john frida stuff.

Pantene is crazy bad for your hair so definitely switch! I use Herbal Essences but I'm considering getting a repairing one because I straighten my hair every day. Out of those, I would totally go with head and shoulders. I've used it before and it makes your hair super healthy. Good luck!

Whats the worst shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair? Have heard some can fade colour?

the best shampoo for coloured hair is baby shampoo, and a good conditioner, if you rinse your hair with very hot water you will notice you loose more dye! cooler water fixes and locks colour in giving it a shine, don't waste your money on shampoos designed for coloured hair they are not really true, all they do is coat the hair giving it a glossy false colour! in any salon you will note that only 3 types of shampoo normally used, normal, greasy and dry, all containing almond, hope this helps, exp hairdresser over 20 yearsWhats the worst shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair? the ones that you can buy at a regular grocery store or drug store. If you have to get the ones there, then I would get tresemme or garnier...and make sure its for the color treated hair. But if you're willing to spend more, then go to the hair salon or a beaty supply store, I used Biolage.Whats the worst shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair? Have heard some can fade colour?
Shampoos that tend to strip color due to more harsh chemicals are finesse and white rain right off the top of my head :) Paula Begoun is a 'beauty expert' and author who wrote 'don't buy haircare products without me' and has some reviews of various products.
Head %26amp; Shoulders strips the dye out of the hair. I had a hair colour disaster and a few hairdressers recommended that I use Head %26amp; Shoulders shampoo to help fade/strip the colour. xx
I dunno about that... People with coloured hair are supposed to use shampoo and conditioner FOR coloured hair.
Head and shoulders fade hair. If you want to pro-long your colour buy a coloured hair shampoo.

Do not wash your hair daily. also sometimes my hair will love 1 brand, but not another. try switching brands. also cold water rinses help soften hair and smooth the hair shaft. also try apple cider vinegar rinses 2 tbls vinegar mixed with 2 cups of water and use as final rinse. do not rinse it out of your hair. it will smell vinegary until you hair is dry. this will add moisture and shine.
Don't wash your hair every day.

I really enjoy using Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner. They have different kinds of shampoo and conditioner that would be just right for you. It makes your hair really soft and touchable. I f you want to get rid of coarse hair but still want to use heat tools then be sure to use a heat protectant every time you straighten or use heating tools on your hair. To repair coarse hair you need to stop applying or minimize the use of heating tools

You also need a good herbal shampoo like Mira hair oil shampoo which will give you healthy hair and allow easy hair management whiles getting your hair silky smooth and straight.

simply use Mira hair oil as a leave in hair treatment, simply apply it into your scalp and allow it to sit for an hour then wash it off with an herbal shampoo

    their site is

http://www.growfabuloushair.com/Best shampoo/conditioner for dry, frizzy, coarse hair?
I'll give you a couple options that are at both product price points.

Redken/All Soft - This is the best for the shampoo

Redken/Smooth Down - Best conditioner to use following All Soft

Those are more expensive but work amazing in all climates. The All Soft makes your hair more soft, brings a lot of moisture to your hair. Following it with the Smooth Down, this keeps the frizz down and smooths out the hair, it also brings a nice shine.

The less expensive option works really good for it's price point.

Pantene - Beautiful Lengths for both the shampoo and conditioner.

These are great at infusing your hair with moisture but keeping it smooth.
Try no sulfate shampoo and cholesterol for the conditioner :)
    Paul mitchel is good :)

Best shampoo/conditioner to fix damaged hair?

thanks!Best shampoo/conditioner to fix damaged hair?
John Frieda shampoo's and conditioner's are really moisturizing. Try the kind that is for your hair type, such as, if your hair is straight, then use that one. I used it on my hair after I messed up my highlights and had to go to the salon to get them redone. My hair was supper dry and this shampoo seems to help make it more smooth and shiny. Good luck!Best shampoo/conditioner to fix damaged hair?

  • Does shampoo, conditioner, or body wash expire?

No it does not expireDoes shampoo, conditioner, or body wash expire?
I think it does. Body wash looses its' nice smell and starts smelling more amoniac. Not sure about shampoo and conditioner.Does shampoo, conditioner, or body wash expire?
probly not but it can go bad after a long time
Hi there! We are RED 7 SALON (http://www.red7salon.com), a boutique hair salon company with 2 locations in Chicago.

Great question and, might I add, an important one. YES, all products expire. Now...is there some sort of leeway on the expiration date. Yes, of course. This is very similar to any other packaged product - take food for example. You can certainly eat a can of beans after the expiration date, but you shouldn't push it too far. With hair products - it all really depends on the manufacturer. However, the standard rule of thumb for most hair products would be to go no longer than 1 year after you purchased it. Why? Well, if it's a quality product made with quality ingredients, the structural integrity of the ingredients will begin to diminish. You don't want that.

Perfect example - a lot of times the ';professional salon brand'; products that you purchase at a drugstore or big chain store are OLD. This might mean that while they were sitting in a warehouse to wait to get shipped to the store - they may have been damaged from excessive heat or light exposure. Why would they sit in a warehouse for so long. It's something called PRODUCT DIVERSION. Basically, every major manufacturer of professional salon brands are out to tackle the companies who buy up salon products from salons going out of business or getting rid of a product line.

Bottomline - don't buy OLD products. They will not work as well and they could be a complete waste of money.

Best thing to do...get some new stuff. Good luck to you!

    RED 7 SALON
i think it sort of does.. if you look on the back of the bottle or whatever it usually says to be used within 1 or 2 years.

    xx
Yes it does. Usually on the back of bottles it has a picture of a small pot with a Number in it. The number in the pot is the number of months it will last when opened.

    Herbal essances totally twisted shampoo/conditioner?

does this shampoo/conditioner only work for curly hair? bc i have stick straight hair and it wont hold a curl (curling iron) for nothing! i would like to add some funk and i like wavy hair but... my hair is really straight but it is also kinda thick. and my hair has no volume. my hair is shoulder length, and i have side swept bangsHerbal essances totally twisted shampoo/conditioner?
I use this shampoo/conditioner but i do have curly hair and it helps keep my curls better. But if you dont have curl then no, its not gonna help, nothing really will. If your tired of the straight look then why not get a perm? If thats not an option for you then try hot rollers, or over night rollers... To help your hair hold when using a curling iron, while you have your hair wrapped around the iron, spritz it with some hair spray. When your finished mist all your hair with some finishing spray. Hope this helps =]]Herbal essances totally twisted shampoo/conditioner?
try some layers, that adds a little flair, don't worry about it, people would kill for straight hair like yours. keep your bangs and DO NOT USE HERBAL ESSENCE it fries your hair. layer your hair because its thick and it should look great, if you can't live with straight hair try something like a perm or blow dry your hair with a round brush from underneath the hair to add some volume
As much as I love the smell of Herbal Essences, it dries the h3ll out of my hair after two washings. If you have color treated hair, stay away.

Malibu has a shampoo for hard water also that would work well for you. I don't know where you live, but call around your local salons and see if they carry them lines. hope this was helpful.

How many amount of shampoo & conditioner can be applied on hair so that it wont be sticky & wont dry my hair?

The amount you should use depends on your hair length.

For shorter hair, a ';dime sized'; amount of shampoo (maybe a bit less of conditioner) will do. Rise thoroughly. How many amount of shampoo %26amp; conditioner can be applied on hair so that it wont be sticky %26amp; wont dry my hair?
You actually don't need very much shampoo or conditioner but it would depend on the length of a persons hair too. My stylist has said to use a dime-sized amount of each and I can use them every day. I use good products from my salon and I may have paid more than a cheaper product but in the long run, I use a lot less and it's worth the money. They don't weigh my hair down nor do they leave my hair sticky and/or dry.How many amount of shampoo %26amp; conditioner can be applied on hair so that it wont be sticky %26amp; wont dry my hair?
big amount of shampoo... then enough amount of conditioner... to make it not so sticky... apply conditioner every other day... and to make it not that dry... when you apply conditioner... make sure all your hair were applied with conditioner...
a dime size should be be enough for the shampoo to lather, and a quarter size for the conditoner. to penetrate the whole head
not too much, maybe like justa blob in your hand kinda thing.... like one squeeze! not sure just whatever you think... because everyones hair is different!!

hope i've kinda helped youo anyways x

John Frieda Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner works to illumniate and enhance your natural or dyed hair. I love it and it smells great... You can buy it at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. They also make it for other color types you will want to make sure you look for the right shade as they made 2 or 3 color types for both blondes and brunettes...
the brunette shampoo you know the one that has for blondes and for reds and for brunette. look for it in drug stores you will know what im talking about

You can find it at Target, Walmart, etc.
I like Pantene Ice it makes your hair really shiny. You don't really have to use a color shampoo, the reflection/shininess will make it look great. If you have more money to spend go to a salon that carries bumble %26amp; Bumble shampoo %26amp; conditioner.
    SunSilk

The Body Shop has an unscented shampoo that you can put drops of vanilla scent into. You can do the same thing with their body wash. It's a little on the expensive side, though.
Just add a few drop of vanilla extract in your shampoo and conditioner. It works.
I have used vanilla scented shampoo and the brand is Suave
    Suave.

FYI...think that one answer should be reported as abuse!!!

Is horse shampoo and conditioner good for mens hair?

can it prevent hair fall and make the hair more strongerIs horse shampoo and conditioner good for mens hair?
i used to use horse hair when I was young and had longer hair. I was reading something about it today. it does make your hair thicker so it is good to use. it's just that it will build up on your hair so you can't use it everyday. you can use it along with normal stuff. Is horse shampoo and conditioner good for mens hair?

Ok, sorry, I saw the question and couldn't resist that answer. I really don't know.
you are kidding right? there are plenty of mens shampoos and conditioners on the market ... why do for something make for an animal?
You can use horse shampoo and conditioner, but I don't think it is any better than people shampoo unless your trying to make your hair really shiny with some of the products that make white - whiter, red-redder and black - blacker. It's probably cheaper than people shampoo though.

bcuz i want my hair thin controlable and wavy and shinyWhat is a really good shampoo and conditioner?
thin hair actually isnt really good to have but unless u want it thinner... anyways any collection of pantene pro-v(itamin) is a good thing to use. use their iceshine stuff omg i used that and within a week my hair was super shiny!! but dont use it too much or it will actually counteract it and make your hair become dull if u use it too often, then use a conditioner of pantene for wavy hair b/c conditioner is meant to control hair to make it untangl-y, but with the addition of keeping it wavy either that or use ONE herbal essences SHAMPOO to keep ur hair wavyWhat is a really good shampoo and conditioner?
I have Vive Pro nutri gloss. There is stuff for wavy, long hair, straight, curly and so on. They are really good and it makes my hair really shiny. I love them! There is diffrent type of bottles for diffrent stuff. Like if you want your hair shiny then use nutri gloss. Its in a pink bottle and it really works. I use it all the time go to: http://www.lorealparis.ca/en/Vivepro/default.aspx and see for your self. ITS REALLY GOOD!
ok if you like good cheap stuff get suave i think thats how you spell it i dont feel like going down to the shower to look or if you want stuff that is herbal and really good for your hair get mane-n-tail its for animals but its also good for people the label even has people directions for there hair but anyway my sister has wavy and shiny hair and she uses it.
All the stuff you see at drug stores like Pantene, Herbal Essences, Aussie, etc are HORRIBLE for your hair...because they are cheap and contain alcohol. Look at the ingredients in the product. If you see any word that ends in -ol that means the product contains alcohol. Alcohol dries out your hair big time and causes damage.

I use Biologe Smooth Therapie. Why Biologe?

(http://www.matrixbeautiful.com/products/鈥?/a> Only because it works best for me. I have long naturally curly and very dry hair. Its hard to comb thru after a shower (with a wide toothed comb!). My hair feels sooo much softer and less tangled after showering. Other products may work well for other people. This is just what works for me. Just make sure you stay away from the products that contain alcohol.
TGF shampoo and conditioner. It's the Bed Head Line. It is great! I smells great, conditions without being to heavy. Check your local salon.

Don't buy the cheap stuff, they suck!
Go with Aussie! It makes your hari so soft and scenty! ((and thick)) me and my friend always say, ';gotta go to the AA meetings for us AUSSIE ADDICTS!!'; It rocks!
use baby shampoo because no harmful chemical in it , just try it
I use Halo , you can get it at a salon, it works great and smells wonderful.
My hair is thick and to smooth it over I use Pantene Pro-V Always Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner...it works really well!!
    I use Herbal Essences.
    HERBAL ESSENCES!! woot!
I use John Freida (sp*?) sheer blonde shampoo and conditioner, makes my hair feel and look great!
ihi ang gamitin mo o pwede naman ebak patunawin mo muna
I loooove oatmeal and honey by TIGI
my favorite is garnier fructis and they have different types of shampoo
bed head products work wonders on hair
FOR U PANTENE WILL WORK THE BEST

Here is a home remedy regimen for dry hair:

Use mayonnaise: Use a dollop of mayonnaise on the palm of the hand and massage it to the head and leave it on for five minutes before having the bath. The recommended time for the mayonnaise treatment is an hour.

Spray the beer: If you do not get any relief from using the mayonnaise, you can use beer as a good setting lotion that gives your hair the crisp, healthy and shiny look. You can pour some beer into an empty pump bottle and spray on the hair after shampooing and towel dry. Then you can style or blow-dry the hair.

Shampoo minimally: choose a shampoo for dry, damaged hair.

Condition your hair: Conditioner glues cuticles back to the shaft and lubricates them. It also prevents static electricity, thus preventing its frizzy appearance.

Cut off the split ends: Every six weeks or soI have prob with my hair... very dry.. i use all the shampoo , conditioner. and live in conditioner,, i oil my
Dove worked for me.... So try it.
Nisoral. It is a shampoo. $14.99. Works for me lovely!
take fish oil, omega 3 or something. it works wonders, give it a few weeks and your hair will shine! also don't blowdry it
you're being way too complicated with it. stop doing anything. just don't wash it for a while. shampoos strip your hair of oils. i wash my hair every 3 days or when it gets dirty. i suggest letting your hair replenish some of its natural moisture.
as expensive as they can be, get regular haircuts. My hair has improved immensly.
Actually, I've experienced super dry hair too (plus hairfall) but a friend of mine suggested that I try coconut milk. U just apply fresh coconut milk on your hair and massage it well, then leave on overnight , rinse it well in the morning and it'll be so soft and shiny. Plus it's all natural, no chemicals to dry and damage your hair. And I've found out it also helps in lessing hair fall. You can use it as often as you like.

Also, try using Swallow Avocado Oil shampoo and conditioner. I'm not sure if it's available in Australia but if it wasnt try to find hair products with avocado oil because it's super moisturizing, it's so wonderful and effective.

And lastly, avoid using too much hair polish coz most of them tend to dry hair.

I hope my suggestions will help, have a good day!

Shampoo & Conditioner for blonde hair?

I got my hair highlighted two days ago, and I already have really blonde hair, and I got platinum blonde highlights. Last time I got them they dulled really fast because of the shampoo and conditioner I used. I was wondering, what kind of shampoos have you used from personal experience that really brought out the color of your hair and had it last longer as well??

Thanks!! :DShampoo %26amp; Conditioner for blonde hair?
I use Blondie and it works well. The conditioner comes in a tube and it's more like a deep conditioner then a regular one; you're supposed to leave it on for at least 10 minutes and use heat to create even better results. I like it so far but next time I'm going to try Stay Blonde. It is a purple shapoo that was recommended to me by my previous hair stylist. Purple shampoos help remove brassiness. I don't think it comes with a complementary conditioner, however. I think any deep conditioner will work fine for chemically processed hair.

Good conditioner, or shampoo for my hair type?

Heyy, My hair is dark blonde, i have side swept bangs that go like down to my jaw, my hair goes about 4 inches below my shoulders. i straighten it every morning, and i put in mousse. my hair can get a little tangly. and frizzy. but i put in mousse and straighten it, so its super straight. I just want some good quality shampoo%26amp;conditioner for my hair that will make it smooth and shiny:] please help, the price limit would be like, below 7$ for each thing. thanks guysss. :]]

your hair sound like weirdly exactly like mine..

i use garnier sleek and shine.. im not sure how much it costs but its not salon professional of anything
Well I just use normal shampoo

    and Neutrogena Triple Moisture

    Daily Deep Conditioner

for dry over processed or colored treated hair

    it works like a charm

I get never ending compliments on how soft and shiny my hair is...

    and it is under $7

    Cheyenne%26lt;3
    try this deep conditioner....

    http://www.bluebeez.com/goods_detail.php鈥?/a>
';All Soft'; by Redken is really good!
you should use Pantene Pro V. It is simply the best for tangly moist hair. i use it all the time and i have uncontrollably wavy hair and i don't need to worry about a thing when i use Pantene.

Also if you would like there is this shampoo and conditioner, it's called back to basics and it is usually found at a salon, or maybe the beauty store sally's salon, or sams club or costco. which ever, and it comes in diffrent flavors and each flavor has a control hair reason like i have mango which controls dry hair.

    good luck :)

Is there a shampoo /conditioner to makre ur hair straight?

i have wavy hair and every day i have to blow dry it and straightin it and that damages my hair so i would like to know if there is any shampoo/conditioner to make my hair straight w/out havin to stragtin it w/a ironIs there a shampoo /conditioner to makre ur hair straight?
I love KMS Flat Out products. I use the shampoo %26amp; conditioner then use Flat Out spray before I blow dry the result straight hair no frizzies. Is there a shampoo /conditioner to makre ur hair straight?
my friend used a shampoo that straightened her hair. i don't know what it's called. There is a lotion that you put in after you wash your hair and you brush it threw and it straightens it.
Yes there is. I use Dove shampoo/conditioner to help my hair stay straight. It works really good. And if you have thick hair, you can get extra volume.
No, sorry, I don't think there is ! just make sure you're using lots of good quality conditioner and styling product. Styling product should help to protect your hair a little. Look for the ones for damaged hair. Otherwise, why not go naturally curly sometimes, scrunch dry while damp or let it dry naturally !
Yes there is one by Matirx I used. I have wavey hair. You do have to blow dry it and style it still but the shampoo %26amp; Conditioner will help it. Oh its comes in a orange bottle. Good luck!
YES but it really doesn't make it straight, straight but yeah its according to what kind of hair you have like damaged, sensitive scalp, etc!

I've been using Philip B shampoo & conditioner, but fancy a change - any recommendations?

    Hi,

Go for Aussie shampoo and Aussie conditioner. I used to use Philip B and had some Aussie bought for me at Christmas. I love it and have converted.

    Best Wishes

PhillipaI've been using Philip B shampoo %26amp; conditioner, but fancy a change - any recommendations?
I also recommend the Aussie range they are brilliant they make such a difference to your hairI've been using Philip B shampoo %26amp; conditioner, but fancy a change - any recommendations?
    huh?
I would suggest the pantene pro v colour range. You pick the colour range that matches your hair colour. I switched to it recently and my hair has been soft, alot more manageable and it gives your hair and natural multitone tone that shines! I've had lots of compliments since switching..... give it a try!
Patene Pro V or in my case try the fructise range. It's great
Definitely try l'oreal elvive nutrigloss shampoo and conditioner (in the pink bottles). The coloured hair stuff in red bottles is as good if you colour your hair too. It's the bomb for shiny silky soft hair.

What Kinda Of Shampoo && Conditioner Do You Use?? Now How iS Your Hair?? ii Always Git Split Ends && Breaks!!?

What Kind Of Shampoo%26amp;%26amp;Conditioner Do You Use?! Hows Tha Texture Of Your Hair?! iiM Tired Of Split Ends, Breaks, %26amp;%26amp; My Hair iS So0 Fried Cuz ii Str8n iT!!! HELP!! ='(What Kinda Of Shampoo %26amp;%26amp; Conditioner Do You Use?? Now How iS Your Hair?? ii Always Git Split Ends %26amp;%26amp; Breaks!!?
First off hot irons and curlers damage the hair that it won't matter what products you use.

I use Head %26amp; Shoulders shampoo

For conditioner: Sunsilk or Biosilk or Fructis sleek %26amp; shine

Leave-in conditioner: Fructis sleek %26amp; shine

Use anything with moisturizers because your hot iron is killing the moisture in your hair. Lack of moisture is what's causing breakage. What Kinda Of Shampoo %26amp;%26amp; Conditioner Do You Use?? Now How iS Your Hair?? ii Always Git Split Ends %26amp;%26amp; Breaks!!?
Well i always use Pantene hairfall Controll.

it helps my hair strong nd shiny black.
I use Aussie (aussie.com)..I love this stuff...i havent had any split ends, or broken hairs since I have been using...you should look at the products and compare the products to your hair problems!
I use Tresseme and my hair is fine
Pantene Pro-v full and thick - shampoo

And the pink herbal essences conditioner

    Shampoo/Conditioner for tangled hair?

I always have really knotting/tangely hair when I get out of the shower. The best thing that has helped me out is using head and shoulders 2 in 1 AND some other conditiner. Any products or tips that can help me with tangled hair?Shampoo/Conditioner for tangled hair?
Brush your hair before you get in the shower. When you wash your hair, massage the shampoo into your scalp only, and then gently push the suds from the scalp to the ends without mashing up your hair or rubbing it. Shampoo is very concentrated, so the suds are enough to cleanse the hair. Your scalp is the only part that actually gets dirty. If you use a lot of products in your hair, you will have to ';wash'; your hair about twice a week, but even then be very gentle and don't rub or scrub. Just lightly massage the shampoo into your hair from scalp to ends. You will also prevent split ends by treating your hair carefully.Shampoo/Conditioner for tangled hair?
If your hair is really long then cut it a little. You should use Herbal Essences shampoo and conditionor and find one for your hair type. my hair used to be really long down to my waist and it got really tangled but now its past my shoulders by an inch and i use herbal essences. Also try a detangling spray when your hair is dry. Bring a comb in thwe shower and comb it with the conditionor still in your hair then wash the conditionor off.

    :)
try tresseme for the breaking hair. even though your hair isnt breaking it will have more nutrients in it than a regular conditionor.

    hope i helped!
    use herbal essences or pert

Mane and Tail shampoo/conditioner. Opinions about product please.

Ever had a Shampoo/ Conditioner Bottle Fall on Your Foot in the Shower?

Is it just my family and I or are we the only ones that constantly have our toes beat-up in the shower by the shampoo, conditioner and body soap bottles???Ever had a Shampoo/ Conditioner Bottle Fall on Your Foot in the Shower?
You are not alone...and have you noticed, everyone has their own shampoo, conditioner and soap? When you have 5 or6 people using the same bathroom, you really take your life in your own hands! lolEver had a Shampoo/ Conditioner Bottle Fall on Your Foot in the Shower?
You are so not alone! It always happens to me. OUCH!
Wow you must have heavy bottles. I live in a small apartment and have to hang pans on the wall. I knocked one off and it landed on a little toe and fractured it. Now THAT hurt......
haha this question (and the first answer) is funny as hell !

Truth be told.. it doesn't happen to me often.

But I seem to knock all 20 of them down when I go the the toilet during the night.

So I assault my family's ears, but our toes appear to be safe.
    yea all the time!!
ouch all the time ... especially like my household of 8 people.. everyone uses a different thing so imagine its looks like a mini market

I shampoo and condition 4 days a week, apply a leave-in conditioner other 3 days of week. Is this good?

Is this good for my hair, or is it bad to use product (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner) regularly? It doesn't have bad affects, like itchy scalp or hair loss, right? Thanks

*My hair is SLIGHTLY wavy, average thickness, normal to dry, and a little past shoulder-length.I shampoo and condition 4 days a week, apply a leave-in conditioner other 3 days of week. Is this good?
dude, wash your hair every day. its discusting what your doingI shampoo and condition 4 days a week, apply a leave-in conditioner other 3 days of week. Is this good?
Some of my close friend are hair dressers and they all say that you should only wash your hair a max of 3 time a week. I only wash mine twice a week and I haven't had any problems. I use a 3min treatment at lease once a month and every time I go to get my hair done they always say how healthy my hair is. BUT, in saying that ALL hair dressers say that you shouldn't use Pantene Pro-V products coz they have too much silicone in them, but thats all I use. Hope this helps.
your body produces oils and minerals to take care of your hair,, you are washing them out and replacing them with man made junk!! you won't have nice hair later in later!

I was told years ago by a pretty well used hair dresser in cali to use only body wash on my hair %26amp; to stop using conditioner for good. I thought she was nuts so ignored kept doing my usual haircare thing. We went on vacation a year later to a deserted place %26amp; was forced to use only body wash on my hair for a week cuz I forgot to pack the shampoo %26amp; conditioner. Now I wouldn't dream of returning to shampoo. The body wash is the best thing next to ice cream now for me. No more conditioner either. Try it, it migh work for you 2. p.s. i'm really not crazy, but i understand how crazy this sounds.
I have dry, curly, thin hair, and I use Garnier, the big things you get from Costco. I especially love the conditioner...it smoothes down my frizz and my hair stays soft and curly but not frizzy.

It really depends on your hair, like if it's thin, thick, wiry, dry, etc...every body has different hair. However, honestly, the conditioner matters more...shampoos all do the same thing, which is strip out the grease and oils. Conditioners do different things. There's leave-in-conditioner, which I highly reccomend using, or regular.

I hope you find the right kind...good luck!
Herbal Essences - hello hydration Shampoo and Conditioner (comes in a pretty blue bottle). It'll majorly help your dry hair, and it smells great (:
Pantene is good though....But herbal essenses works good for me.
I like the Sunsilk products, pink is the best for dryness

Anyone used Mane and Tail Shampoo/Conditioner?

Does this help thicken hair?Anyone used Mane and Tail Shampoo/Conditioner?
It didn't work for me. Just left an oily residue on my hair. (Eww!)

    I use Pantene now :-)

Peace!Anyone used Mane and Tail Shampoo/Conditioner?
my friend did and she hated it.
no actually i've never even heard of it and i don't think many people have. try again.
I have. It gives it extra volume, that's for sure--but it won't make the actual strands any thicker. If you have thin hair, it's not going to make all your hairs ';fatter'; or anything.
no. but i've heard it makes you're hair grow faster and become shinier
I have used it. My boyfriend loves it. He likes it because its cheap and lasts him forever. I like it. Lathers well. Only takes a little bit. However, It didn't do anything special for my hair above and beyond normal shampoo.
no i usually use suave deep cleanser i dont use conditioner but after i wash it than i dry it with a hair dryer than straighten it than it comes out smooth and shiney but people can use it but if it says its for horses its for horses
I use Mane 'N Tail and it makes your hair fuller. It works but it does take time.
no I am not a horse
I used it back in my 20s,worked great.
I have used it for years on my Arabian show horses tails and manes it was made for horses before people started using it you know. Horse handlers, grooms etc would be using it on a horse and wipe their face and run their hands over their own hair ,and they found out it was great for human hair too. While nothing really thickens hair it does give it a fuller appearance thus making it look ';thicker'; Its a good product. Its made for humans now too.and has been for a long time.
A long time ago. I'm not sure anything will help ';thicken'; the hair but try a volumizing shampoo to give the appearance of thick hair.

What is a good salon brand shampoo to give some volume and a conditioner to leave your nice and soft?

Salon brands suave does not work on my hair it dries it out!thanks! What is a good salon brand shampoo to give some volume and a conditioner to leave your nice and soft?
did you ever consider using a styling product instead? for example, jonathan product and frederic fekkai voluminizing mousses and stuff are really good. you can find them at sephora, or at bath and body works. What is a good salon brand shampoo to give some volume and a conditioner to leave your nice and soft?
Grahem Webb Halo products or Brocato Miracle repair products, and also Nolita by Graham Webb is really good. I am hairstylist.
JASON'S [it's organic %26amp; doesn't contain chemical's like sodium lauryl sulfate, and other disease causing agents] It's available in a number of formula's. You can find it at Better Health stores, Good Food, Whole Food, or any small herbal or health vitamin shop, not GNC.
try aussie. i think thats what its called its in a purple bottle. it really volumizes my hair and leaves it smelling really great.
    try catwalk
    try bath and body
Well i love Garnier Fructis because it comes in many differents types aiming toward the kind of hair i have or want to improve. they do have a shampoo that will give you volume and a conditioner that will leave your hair nice and soft. also they have available volumizing sprays that will give your hair a nice bounce and the best part is that it isn't too expensive and you can get it at any drug store such as walgreens and cvs
Only use the normal shampoo without frangrance and all kind of shown herbs cause it with damaged your hair and it does work because i work in a shampoo factory, then use conditioner
I use Biologe and it works very well (it also smells good)!!
the best shampoo and conditioner is the tressemee line of products. it gives you volumn and it makes your hair really soft. I even use it.
fat cat by redken is one of the best products for flat dull and lifeless hair its available in most salons cost around 拢12 for both shampoo and conditioner
i recommend herbal essence. it smells good and i feel good. that 's just me

These products can contribute to your damage Pantene, Herbal Essence %26amp; Garnier are silicone products. They make you hair nice at first but as the silicone builds up it locks out moisture your hair weakens %26amp; breaks. Use pro products they last longer because you use less so the extra expense is worth it. The shampoos don't contain a detergent lathering agent so it's weird at first because you are used to lather. Great specialty products are, Joico K-Pak Reconstructor also Silk Results, Rusk has New Pro Elements Keratin. Big Sexy has good general products. what i do recommend you try is the garnier fructis repair and strength shampoo and strength and shine leave-on conditioner.. that really helped bring moisture back to my hair and make my hair stronger i have been using it for 2 months now and no split ends or breakage.. it also made my hair soo much smoother ..

for my hair, i have middle eastern hair btw and it's thick, so i have to shampoo and repeat 2-3 times to get any buildup/oil from my scalp.. but it's an absolutely good brand and it's almost always on sale at drug stores like walgreens and rite aid.

btw,.. if you're planning on using heat products(iron/blow dryer) i recommend youV05 heat defense (it's a small red spray bottle).. it gives you hair shine, defrizzes, and protect hair from heat plus it's smells good and it's light.. spray it over you hair and then brush/comb through it to get an even coat on your head
Have you ever tried Aussie brand haircare? I find that I never have to use anything but their Aussie Moist 2 in 1 and that leave in conditioning spray. I use heat on my hair everyday and it has done wonders for me.

Hi everybody, just wondering, which shampoo/conditioner works for ur hair better?

garnier fructis or pantene pro v?Hi everybody, just wondering, which shampoo/conditioner works for ur hair better?

Which shampoo and conditioner is the best? ANSWER PLEASEEE?

Hi! I'm trying to decide which shampoo and conditioner is the best. I'm looking for something that promotes straight, silky hair and also prevents against things like frizz from humidity. I mean, don't you just hate when your hair looks sooo nice and then you walk outside, it's super humid out, and POOF! Slowly but surely, your hair starts getting frizzy %26gt;.%26lt; How do I prevent that?

Thanks everyoneee!!Which shampoo and conditioner is the best? ANSWER PLEASEEE?
Loreal Shampoo. It makes your hair really soft and smooth. PLUS it comes with a free stick of make up and mascara....Which shampoo and conditioner is the best? ANSWER PLEASEEE?
Herbal Essence Is amazing. I use Totally Twisted shampoo and i love it. I know they have a line for straight hair tho. Its called like Dangerously Straight or something like that. There is shampoo, conditioner and other items especially made for getting straight hair You can find it anywhere and its like 5 dollars for a huge bottle. Great deal
there's really no prevention. if you load up on products it will eliminate most of it. i recommend pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner. it is 100% vegan, 100% organic, and sulfate free! you'll love it :]
    i have the same problem.

Redkin works really well for that kind of stuff. Its been my favorite for a couple years now. And you can try most salon shampoos and conditioners, they usually work really well, but they are kind of expensive
DONT use herbal essences they test on animals, use aussie it makes your hair soft and amazing. use a heat protector, straighten it, and then use hair spray. dont use garnier either it doesnt work although it smells nice
SERIOUSLY its such a b*tch when that happens, i use biosilk tho and it helps a little, if you put some in after you go outside, it gets better
PANTENEE! iss thee best! and it also smells great!!!!!! :)
the fruitrese (sp?) has worked great for my sister (little texture to her hair) honestly you will need to invest in a great styling product to follow up though.
either pan-teen prov or herbal essences
    herbal essences hello hydration
    herbal essenses
    ausy
Don't use what the first two answered. It contains harmful ingredients. Organix is one of the best cheap shampoos. Here are the bad ingredients for your hair. These damage your hair and make it frizz, look dull and dry. SLS or sodium Lauryl Sulfate is found in most floor cleaners. So are all the ammonium's. So far the ones I know of that don't contain these ingredients is organix, Garnier, and back to the basics. Also if you use salon products be careful. I use to use bed head(a very popular salon brand) and its shampoo contained one of the Ammonium's listed. I was always wondering why my hair was so straw like and frizzy. Also I wash my hair every day with organix. Its shiny, strong, healthy and soft. No shampoo or conditioner promotes straight hair. Only your hair follicle determines that. If its straight then your hair is straight. If its a wave your hair is wavy. If its a curl than your hair is curly. If your hair is healthy it won't poof or frizz. Well unless you have thick, course, curly hair then its unavoidable. Also the way you style it could be contributing to your frizz.

    1. Never use a blow dryer that doesn't have an ionic setting. Also never blow your hair in random directions. Only blow down. Also a thermal lotion helps. Oh and don't use a brush. Use your hands

    2. Never straighten your hair without a thermal protection. Also don't use a cheap crappy straightener. Chi's and GHD's are the best.

    3. Never curl your hair without a mousse.

What is a good Shampoo and Conditioner!?

Im looking for a good shampoo and conditioner

I want it to make my hair soft and shiny, but not oily/greasy

my hair is pretty normal, not oil but not dry

i want something that is good for my hair as well, im trying to grow it long so maybe something that strengthens.

and i dont have much money to spend so maybe something u can pick up at the local drugstore?

please answer, thanks! c:What is a good Shampoo and Conditioner!?
As far as inexpensive shampoos and conditioners go, Pantene Pro-V is the best bang for your buck! Other great drugstore brands are Tressemme and Sunsilk. However, in my opinion, the best shampoo and conditioner is Frederic Fekkai's glossing shampoo. It is pretty pricey though; I purchase mine at Sephora and they are both $35 each so it totals a little over $70 for both. I grew up on that brand though so maybe that is why it works so well for me. I hear it isn't good for your hair to keep switching shampoos and conditioners. Hope this helps! What is a good Shampoo and Conditioner!?
I think Herbal Essences does a pretty good job for me. It smells AMAZING and my hair is soft and shiny. I also have 'normal' hair in the sense that it is not dry or oily. Garnier Fructis has a great shampoo for strengthening, but the smell of Herbal Essences still wins me over.

The curls and waves shampoo from them actually made my crazy waves calm down a little bit and shape up nicer. Before they were just an undefined ball of wave and now they are more wave and less afro.
i highly recommend aussie moist, garnier fructis, or pantene, in that order. i also recommend only washing every other day unless you work out daily like me or live in florida, in which case walking down the street makes you sweat like a work out, in which case you could just conditioner wash or water wash.
