Does anyone really believe that taking away my shampoo, conditioner and lotion will stop a terrorist threat?

If I was a passenger on one of those planes that forced me to give up those things, someone would be reimbursing me. If someone wants it bad enough and is smart enough they are going to blow up that plane regardless of the ';security'; measures? These measures are asinine at best, and at worst political scare tactics; what happened to not living in fear? There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough and while safety is important, I am not going to give those who wish me harm the control, because lets face it--that is exactly what we have done. It has gone past the point of reasonable safety measures to the absurd. No wonder the airlines are going bankrupt--people are just tired of the hassle--I say we should start a class action law suit to stop honest Citizens from this type of harassment and communistic like rules.Does anyone really believe that taking away my shampoo, conditioner and lotion will stop a terrorist threat?
i agree totally, all these scare tactics are pointless .... if someone half-way intelligent wants to blow up a plane they will figure a way to do it period.... and think about this for a second .... what is the big deal with planes? sure its spectacular to blow a plane but if you have an extremist group ready to die really they could do any number of other things that makes much more sense if they just want to cause death and destruction .... if 9 terrorists armed with totally legal-bought semi-auto rifles busted into a mall they could literally kill hundreds of people before they were taken out .... oops , better ban all guns now to .... come to think about it they could bust into a church with knives and hack everyone up to .... better ban the knives to .... the whole scare-tactic thing is just to keep people scared and subordinate to the ';war on terror'; which is a crazy idea in itself because anyone can be a terrorist .... especially if they happen to live where there is lots of oil.

.. here is another thing to chew on ... 3 or 4 trained guys could take over a plane without weaponsDoes anyone really believe that taking away my shampoo, conditioner and lotion will stop a terrorist threat?
Yes I do.If it's going to be for safety. How can you worry about these trivial things when so many lives are in danger? We really need to be patient in times like this.
It will keep you from mixing explosives on the plane. Any other questions?
I say, you got a U.S. passport?, you bring your toothpaste and shampoo on the plane. The French probably don't use it anyway. Everyone else can buy it at the overpriced airport vending machines ($$$) provided by U.S. companies once their plane arrives. Everyone's Happy (,:)
Have you ever tried mixing them together? They make an explosive combination!!
Rocky, Rocky, Rocky...using that logic we should issue guns to all passengers and just hope they are all good people. No safety measures are unreasonable. I think I would give up my shampoo to potentially save lives, or speed up security, or take away another of their weapons. I would rather ne hassled than killed.
the reason they won't let any of that on the planes is because individual chemicals can be combined to create explosives and they don't want to take any chances. so for the time being what they're doing is taking precautionary measures and you should be thankful for it. i mean, if you want to get on a plane that's likely to blow up because people like you don't want to waste a few more minutes in security, be my guest.
Does this thought come to your mind, ';The Good Have To Suffer For The Bad'; it should because that is what we were all thought and that is why the world is like it is, scared that someone will get killed and had they checked the shampoo bottle they could have prevent it. Now that person lost his job, because of the shampoo bottle, when really all the people flying have to do is fly naked and when the reach their distention buy some clothes, good luck!!
Wah, wah, wah...What a baby you are. The terrorist attack was uncovered this morning!! For crying out loud, give officials a day or two to sort things out. I'm sure restrictions will let up eventually.
They knew the terrorists were planning to bring liquids on the planes to blow it up.

Not letting people get on the plane with liquids seems to be a reasonable response, to me.
I'd rather give up anything replaceable than my life!! While I'm sure there is no perfect formula for safety, not taking steps to remove what you KNOW to be dangerous would be disasterous! We can all find something to complain about if we really want to, but our very existance is being plotted against as we sleep peacefully, and take our way of life for granted. I am glad ';someone wants it bad enough and is smart enough'; to keep coming up with more ';security'; measures. I say anyone who would blow themselves up so as to cause the deaths of as many people as they can is ';ABSURD'; ! So it must take absurd actions to thwart such hatred. I feel that fighting for the right to safely go about doing my thing is taking control. ';Let's face it';, being blown the hell up , or getting '; a cap busted in the OLD DO BUSINESS'; is the ultimate harassment!!!!!
It is better to be safe than sorry. They are trying to tell people ahead of time so they can pack them in the baggage, not the overhead. People are able to bring on liquids in these bottles to make bombs. I would rather buy my own bottle of soap or whatever then having another terrorist attack.
Here's an idea. Since they post ahead of time what you may and may not bring aboard the plane, why not pre-prepare and pack all your liquids in your suitcase.

It's to protect everyone from the potential nutcases who would like to kill everyone.

I think there should be maybe two planes set aside to carry all the people who think the new restrictions are a bad idea. That way, if more terrorists (LIKE THE ONES WHO WERE JUST CAUGHT) want to bring their liquid explosives on board and blow up the plane, they'll only be blowing up people who thought their shampoo was worth the risk.

Oh, and I guess you'll need a pilot or two who must have thier hair gel with them, also.

edit: From what I've read, you're not allowed to bring the liquids into the airplane cabin. You can still pack them in your suitcase and check them in.

Which is better Joico, Rusk, or pureology. I need a shampoo and conditioner for fine dry hair any suggestions.

something that will leave my hair super softWhich is better Joico, Rusk, or pureology. I need a shampoo and conditioner for fine dry hair any suggestions.
Pureology is def. the better one out of those 3. but an olive oil shampoo/conditioner would work much better and it's probably cheaper.Which is better Joico, Rusk, or pureology. I need a shampoo and conditioner for fine dry hair any suggestions.
brocoto cloud 9 miracle repair treatment shampoo and the conditioner is AMAZING! doesn't weigh your hair down or make it so soft that you can't style it. trade secret or hair cosmopolitan in my mall have it.
JOICO, it works so well, it makes my hair look so beautiful and soft.
I think JOICO.

Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?

Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?

Will it make my hair smoother, softer, or seem healthier?

Is it good for dry and damaged hair? Will it make dry and damaged hair feel softer, smoother? Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?
I don't like it because it doesn't make my hair soft, it makes it dry! Go with Garnier that stuff is great. Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?
I haven't really used it consistently in order to get lasting results, but from what I've seen, it nourishes really well and makes hair look and feel all around healthier and softer....

With as little use I've given it, I'm not considered a reliable source, but I would recommend it to anyone with damaged or dry hair.

Especially if you're someone who gets a lot of sun, or goes swimming a lot. (in both chlorine and ocean water)
i straighten my hair everyday, and i use dove...it makes my hair light, reallyyy soft and silky, and i highly recommend dove! haha, i even have friends who pet my hair like every day because its so soft!

:)
Pantene works better.

I've even seen it on Good Morning America lol.

I remember they were seeing which shampoo worked better and Pantene got that spot.

I guess Dove is good but not as good as Pantene Pro V.

Hope I helped.
Yesss, thats what i use because i straighten my hair everyday. and dove helps it not to get damaged, plus its always soft and silky.

:)

Survey : What Shampoo & Conditioner do you use ?

I use Matrix Biolage Shampoo and Conditioner for color treated hair. Makes my hair awesome. A little pricey, but it works. I was having problems finding a decent shampoo/conditioner that left my hair nice, so I don't mind paying it. The other stuff used to work...guess my hair decided to get picky. Lol. Smells awesome too!!Survey : What Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner do you use ?
I just buy the cheapest possible Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner from Aldi's and rinse my hair through afterwards with a mixture of about 2 inches of white vinegar in a 2 litre bottle filled with warm water ~ my hair actually turns out the glossiest and shiniest it has ever been .......... reason being, the commercial varieties of shampoos and conditioners (for those of us who can't afford organic) leave a chemical residue that eventually builds up and leaves you with dull, lifeless and lank hair ..................... the vinegar and warm water solution simply cleanses all the gunk off your hair and gives you shiny lustrous locks ............ if you're gonna try it make sure you close your eyes and rinse your face thoroughly before opening them or it may sting your eyes♥

♥Survey : What Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner do you use ?
I use boots brand, coconut and almond shampoo and conditioner. For anyone with dry coloured hair it is gentle and very moisturising. It's not expensive and the leave-in conditioner is so nice and gives that coco nutty smell.
i tend to buy whatever is on special offer but always one specifically for blond hair. my hair is naturally blond and if i don't use blond shampoo and conditioner it can look a bit dull!!!
Neutrogena shampoo and Redkins fresh Curls conditioner if I leave it curly

What would happen if i put shampoo or conditioner in my hair without it being wet? would it mess it up?

not neccessarily

it will probably act as a Moisturizer

but once it hits water it'll be reeeaally soapyWhat would happen if i put shampoo or conditioner in my hair without it being wet? would it mess it up?
it won't mess it up unless you leave shampoo in there; it'll dry your hair out

it'll me kind of like gel...except that it doesn't ';soak'; into your hair - it'll just be..there

the conditioner will make your hair greasy and oily thoughWhat would happen if i put shampoo or conditioner in my hair without it being wet? would it mess it up?
No it wouldnt. It would just be messy. There are dry powder shampoo's though
No. I've done it before. It feels a little weird, but I don't think there are any serious problems associated with it. Just...you know...don't do it all the time :)
I jusi want to know y u would do that
And left it in there, or put it in there dry and then rinsed it out? I don't get it? I guess if you put it in there and then rinsed it out it would still get the job done, but I'm not really sure why you would want to do that.
that just really dont make any sense. it would work the same way as it would if your hair were wet when you do actually wet it but its not gonna lather up when your applying it and it will when you wet it tho and it will take longer to get it out of your hair.

Shampoo and conditioner for dry, damaged hair?

which one is the best that i can get at a retail store ?Shampoo and conditioner for dry, damaged hair?
John Frieda Root Awakening is the bestttttt

they make it for dry/ damaged hair tooShampoo and conditioner for dry, damaged hair?
I have the same problem as you. I hear Head %26amp; Shoulders is really good, even if you don't have dandruff. It moisturizes a lot.

*You shouldn't use Pantene because it has silicone in it: it wears your hair down for a few days so it's sleek but later it's a mess. Trust me, I know.

Also, shampoos with alchohol in it tend to make your hair more dry, so check the ingredients.
Aussie DEEEEEEP Conditioner

It's a 3 minute miracle

  • What is better, shampoo or conditioner?

    shampoo: ';i clean the hair';

    conditioner: ';i leave it silky and smooth';

you seem confused so maybe you should buy some pert plus.

some manufacturers make conditioning shampoos. i like shampoos, they have the better smells. What is better, shampoo or conditioner?
shampoo because it gets your hair clean, conditioner just makes your hair soft and managable. What is better, shampoo or conditioner?
    your ment to use both!!!
shampoo cleans ur hair and conditionor makes it rllly nice....i use shampoo...wash it out....then use conditionor...and rinse it out
    shampoo. read the bottle...it cleans

rather have clean hair than soft and shiney, oily hair that would really already be shiney
    shampoo cleans

    conditioner conditions

    conditioner doesnt clean

    and you need both
Shampoo takes the dirt out of your hair. Conditioner softens your hair. So BOTH of them are good.
oooo....hard one...shampoo cleans....but conditioner softens and smooths.....conditioner i think is better because its the reason any man enjoys to run their fingers through a women's hair... :)
Well if you don't wash your hair, there is no use in conditioning it. So I would say shampoo. You have to clean the funk out of it from time to time.
Well you need to use shampoo or your hair will get greasy and conditioner is good for knots and to give your hair a silky look and to make your hair shiny wash it in cold water.
well, you can't have one without the other.. you need shampoo to wash it and you need conditioner to make it soft..
they are two completly different things.......shampoo washes your hair and conditioner conditions....you need them both...if you just wash you will have hard to manage hair...if you just condition you will have greasy looking hair.
oh i don't use it my hair is like man so i use body wash
Shampoo is better...it is nicer and very well behaved!!!!

Whats a good conditioner/shampoo or intensive hair cream for damaged/dry hair?

i have some breakage/split ends and my hair is dry from straightening. i want something strong that will help make my hair strong and smoothWhats a good conditioner/shampoo or intensive hair cream for damaged/dry hair?
color vive the bestWhats a good conditioner/shampoo or intensive hair cream for damaged/dry hair?
    try this:

1st cut of the split ends make sure that get your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks. use tresemme' anti-breakage shampoo it really works (use it until you have no more split ends)

    and for strong hair use:

    http://www.cosmeticmall.com/images/produ鈥?/a>

    for smooth hair use:

    http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/41鈥?/a>
when my hair goes dry i use sunsilk for dry and damaged hair (the orange one). however, my dry hair isnt caused by straightening, so you may want to use a shampoo/conditioner made especially formulated to retain moisture while straightening hair.

as for the split ends, id have them trimmed.
Anything by Aussie. They are PHENOMENAL, trust me =D

Does someone knows the best shampoo and conditioner for dry, frizzy and damage hair?

Biolage Smooththerapie Shampoo/Conditioner and Biolage Hydratherapie are great. They are perfect 4 dry, frizzy, and damaged hair. Plus, Biolage smells really good!!!

I hope this helps and Good Luck with your hair!!! =)

panteen in the tube that looks like hair gel i think its liek restorance for dry/ frizzy extremely damaged hair.Does someone knows the best shampoo and conditioner for dry, frizzy and damage hair?
Try Sun-Silk in the green bottles, I think it's called defrizz. Also, one of the best products I've ever forund to fight frizz is John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum.
FrizzEze by John Frieda is really the only solution. Others are temporary - this product actually makes changes.
Pantene Deep Fortifying Treameant...comes in a tube

    Good moisturising shampoo and conditioner?

Hi, which is a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for a very dry hair?

Can I get it in stores like Safeway, Coles or they available only in Salons.

    ThanksGood moisturising shampoo and conditioner?
Dove Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner is really good. You can buy this anywhere..Good moisturising shampoo and conditioner?
Bed Head, Pantene, Herbal Essences, and Paul Mitchel are all good hair products. For Bed Head, Pantene, and Herbal Essences they are sold in places like Target. Paul Mitchel is usually sold in Salons. But I highly recommend that. I hope this helps.
I use the garnier fructis sleek and shine and i use the deep conditioning about every other day and i have very healthy hair. It helps if you don't wash your hair for like two days, and just let your natural hair oil do some of the work :)
anything with cocnut oil and jojoba oil is good for your hair and also i think rosemary

    Best mild shampoo and conditioner?

i have a fairly sensitive scalp are there any good shampoos and conditioners that would suit me, i don't gel my hair so i dont need strong shampoo.Best mild shampoo and conditioner?
Johnson and Johnson classic yellow baby shampoo is really gentle. They actually make one now that is unscented too. If you don't feel normal using baby shampoo then I would just try a variety of products from the store. The ones marked ';unscented'; and ';sensitive skin'; would be good choices. If you can find one with colloidal oatmeal in it that would be great too.

I have a friend with really sensitive skin, and instead of shampoo she uses aveeno's unscented ';skin relief body wash.'; I don't know if she uses a conditioner, but the body wash has moisturizers so it might do double duty.Best mild shampoo and conditioner?
Have you tried baby shampoo? I would think that's a gentle as you can get. :)
Any shampoo that doesn't contain Sodium lauryl Sulfate or Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate in the ingredients should do
I would suggest using a couple different varieties of shampoos and conditioner. I went to a dermatoligist for bad flaking several years ago and she suggested alternating between three or four different types.
    Head and shoulders- sensitive scalp

    Easy....and Its not too expensive

Ladies! what shampoo and conditioner do you use?

    shampoo and conditioner.
tressemmme is awesome it really is perfect!!!
SCRUPLES is the best !! i love it and it smells great! but you can't purchase it at a store you'd have to go to a salon and it may cost a little more but its so worth it , scruples carrys so many great things you'll find everything your looking for great investment!
Clairol Herbal Essence for Normal - Oily hair.
I switch it up quite often. I use Panteen anit-sponge, Brilliant brunette, Head and Shoulders, T-gel, Suave, Panteen clarifier, aussie, and idk what the other stuff was called but i didnt like it. It came out like hair gel and didnt lather. By far tho my favorite is Panteen anti-sponge and my favorite conditioner is panteen restoratives. Good luck!!!
Suave, which claims to ';nourish as well as Biolage.'; It smells different, but it still smells good, but not that strong either. It's just a normal, everyday shampoo that's also super cheap. Suave has a good line of products for all hair types if you aren't biased against cheap shampoo.
    I really like herbal essence.

It really helps control the frizzies, makes your hair more silky and smooth. It really helps to strengthen your hair also. It's an A+ Shampoo and Conditioner!

The best shampoo and conditioner is the one your professional stylist prescribes to you when you get your hair done. She knows what works the best and what your hair needs. Pro products are ph balanced and help maintain the proper moisture level in the hair....most important to the over all integrity of the hair.

Any of the crap you buy at the supermarket or drug store is not going to work and give you the bare minimal results...just like the ingredients they construct the final product with. They are NEVER ph balanced...so will strip the life, your color, and all moisture.

Hope my answers are helpful and good luck!!

    Shampoo/conditioner for straighter hair?

I have wavy frizzy hair and I've been using Herbal Essences Pin Straight for awhile. It hasn't done anything. Is there any shampoo/conditioner that will help me with that? not too expensive. something from target or a store like that...Shampoo/conditioner for straighter hair?
garnier frutese its amazing!Shampoo/conditioner for straighter hair?
Try SunSilk Straight to Perfection Shampoo and Conditioner.

    It's the purple bottle,
yes maybe this will work better. i suggest using a shampoo and conditioner from the pantene pro v collection. there is one called extra straight and i believe it works great. if takes the frizziness away plus it leaves your hair looking alive, shiny and most important straight. i believe it totally depends on what type of hair you have and these shampoo's are made for the most common people and it will work for them but not you. so yea i suggest using pantene pro v. its the brand that i use now. i used to use herbal essences too but i just stopped a couple of months ago. Hope i helped and good luck!

Does anyone know a good shampoo/conditioners to make your hair straight?

I've tried Herbal Essence, but that doesn't seem to work very well. Any ideas? I need very very straight, soft, hair.Does anyone know a good shampoo/conditioners to make your hair straight?
Biolage is the best GOOD LUCK

Whats the best shampoo/conditioner out there? (in your opinion)?

I really need to know a good good good hair conditoner (or shampoo if it works best) that makes hair very silky and smooth and NOT FRIZZYWhats the best shampoo/conditioner out there? (in your opinion)?
ok...the best choice is Garnier. definitly! they have all different ones for all sorts of hair-damaged-normal-etc. I use dry/damaged because i straighten my hair. use that. the best part is is that it is made from all natural ingredients like fruit.Whats the best shampoo/conditioner out there? (in your opinion)?
I use FRUCTIS . by GARNIER, love the product, use the whole line, Really smoothes the hair..
Aveda is the best. It makes my hair smell so good, and i feel comfortable the next day from wearing it.
    Biolage is my favorite!
I like Sleek by Matix. I have the whole line of it!
A couple of these I have to agree with. Anything with natural ingredients is the best for your hair. I dont know how much Garnier has, but if you look at the ingredients on the bottle, the first 4 ingredients are the ones that have the highest percentage in the bottle. It goes in order from the most to the least. If you can find a product that has an extract, oil, whatever in the first four ingredients, you'd be on the right track. In california, Im not sure about anywhre else, there is this product called Mastey. No kidding, this stuff is allllllllll natural ingredients. No petro-chemicals at all. Plants and food. Thats it. The sh*t is b-a-n-a-n-a-s!!!!!!!!!!! Did i mention it was really good?????????
    I swear by Dove EVERYthing.
My hair is nauraly wavy/curly and I use Lor茅l Vive for dryor color treated hair it is the one that is in the orange bottle also is a deep conditoner. This is vey cheap around $3.00-4.00 when I use the deep cond I don't wash it out I put a little in your palm and comb it throughout your hair then style try that let me know how it works
Herbal Essences produces a wonderful line of conditioner(the one's for oily tonormal hair) that help's prevent dry ends but weighs down the hair just a litttle bit......my best success in shampoo has been tresseme'(it smells awesome!) and Pantenes blonde shampoo...
i like aussie [that australian kind with the kangaroo], head and shoulders also is cool even if you dont have dandruff. plus there is always dove for really dead hair....

Pantene pro v shampoo/conditioner causes build-up, but i don't use any styling products...

like gel, mousse, leave in conditioners, hairsprays, heat protectors, etc. so will the shampoo and conditioner cause build-up in my hair still??Pantene pro v shampoo/conditioner causes build-up, but i don't use any styling products...
    Switch shampoo...try WEN...its not really shampoo...but it is soo good...Pantene pro v shampoo/conditioner causes build-up, but i don't use any styling products...
I was told a long time ago to always have 2 brands of shampoo and conditioner on hand. One that is your daily user, and one to use just one day out of the week to ward off any build up. That is a lesson that I have always used for the past 25 years, and I dont seem to have any build up issues. I have Grand Fruiticis (sp) and Pantene Pro V in my shower stall.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

But shampoo and conditioner should never cause buildup.

Try switching to a different shampoo.

It could be that you have a oily scalp, or your dead skin cells are building up. Try using a good clarifying shampoo and see how it works out.

  • How often do you switch shampoo/conditioners?

Why is it that after a month, my hair just stops responding to a shampoo/conditioner.How often do you switch shampoo/conditioners?
because your hair starts to get use to it

its like if every day at 12:31 imma throw a brick at you at 1st street

you'll stop going to 1st at 12:31 (hope you understand)

also i switch up every 1 month or soHow often do you switch shampoo/conditioners?
Whenever the shampoo/conditioner I'm using runs out, I usually just buy another brand because I like to mix things up. So I'd say maybe once a month. Your body probably just gets accustomed to things quickly, that's good in a way;]
the same thing happens to me! everytime i finish a shampoo/conditioner bottle, i try a new product! after a few new ones are empty, ill switchback, and repeat the cycle!
i dont switch my shampoo's or conditoners i find one that works and stick with it!

    Whats the best shampoo/conditioner?...?

I have oily hair but i need to get something that builds body too..any suggestions? whats your favorite? thanks!Whats the best shampoo/conditioner?...?
I like Treseme. a bit more expensive than regular shampoo but i had the same as you...oily hair. it make my hair lovely and bouncy and shiney and makes it feel real nice =D and smell and it doesnt make hair look bleak, gives it volume at same time :DWhats the best shampoo/conditioner?...?
    im the same

    it drives me crazy

It leaves my hair shiney, healthy and feeling great! What's a good shampoo and conditioner?
Try Pantene. It works great for daily use.
that's what washing your hair everyday will do.

Try shampooing it every SECOND day. And ONLY condition the tips of your hair. Never condition your roots. Try using something from Herbal Essences.

    Email me for ANYTHING else,

    Bye

    Isn't V05 like 75 cents???

    Honey, get real shampoo

Tresemme, Herbal Essence's are both good. If you can afford it, try Bumble and Bumble
    tresseme, herbal essence, and chi.
washing you hair once a day can cause drying, that is to much

Can I use shampoo replacement leave-in conditioner for people on my dog?

No human shampoo strips the oils away from the dogs skin that they need..use an approved dog shampoo or baby shampoo. Can I use shampoo replacement leave-in conditioner for people on my dog?
I'm confused, do you mean shampoo or conditioner? I've always heard not to use human products as well but my groomer (a very experienced one not just someone off the street who bathes dogs) said I could use my conditioner on my dog's coat when it was looking dried out. For shampoo he suggests a dog shampoo with oatmeal in it.Can I use shampoo replacement leave-in conditioner for people on my dog?
you can but it will not clean the coat like a ';dog shampoo'; would. they stuff that is in the dog shampoos have stuff in them that helps the condition of the hair better and makes the coat shinyer....i guess that it would be alright everynow and then but i wouldn't make it a every bath thing..hopes this helps yo a little
No,because your dog might have an allergic reaction. Also, it makes their skin itchy. If you don't have any dog shampoo, I would suggest using just plain water.

Sorry if this wasn't what you wanted to hear, but it's how it is!

    I hope this helps you!
the pH balance of a dog's skin is different from that of a humans. it's better to use products that are specially formulated for dogs to avoid over-drying or greasy haircoat.
No. Dog's skin is very sensitive and human shampoo is much to strong. They can actually get very painful rashes. Please use proper dog shampoo.
You mean human products? I don't really understand. It is okay to use human shampoos for a little bit. Like ONE time. Try suave coconut, that's what we used to do.
NO. It will dry out his skin, and may give him a rash. Instead, by some dog shampoo from the store.

    Good Luck!
no because ur dog could get a rash and lose a lot of hair .... DO NOT USE PEOPLE SHAMPOO USE DOG SHAMPOO ITS FOR THE BEST!!
No the perfumes may irritate your dogs skin
no it will cause dry skin and dandruff
    In a word NO.

    Wal-Mart, Walgreens, RiteAid, K-Mart!!!!!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use for colored hair......dry hair?

InfusiumWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner to use for colored hair......dry hair?
There are many different brands to choose from. You want to get a mild soap and conditioner, that will NOT take away the oils. The coloring usually strips the oils from one's hair and can damage it. Perhaps try the brand KMS, and be sure to always rinse your hair from conditioner with COLD water. Hope this helps :-)What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use for colored hair......dry hair?
    pantene
I use Tre' semme....they have different shampoos and conditioners for different hair COLORS!!! Plus they smell great!!!
finesse...it smells and works great! Make sure you get the kind for damaged hair or dehydrated hair.
I've always stuck with pantene pro-v, they have differant conditioners for every hair type
L'Oreal ColorVIVE Gentle for color-treated or highlighted hair..

Recently I read an article about a case study that compared different shampoos to the claim they make. It was found that most products available regardless of their price and claim do the job about as well as any other. That being said, there are a few exceptions.. L'Oreals was one of the few that did partially produce the claimed results. Though myself personally, I think that as long as you use a shampoo that works well for you, regardless of the actual brand or price, you could have great results.
That's a good question. I think the important thing is the conditioner, but then it weighs the hair down for the people like me with thin hair. I've noticed there's a lot of new shampoos and conditioners specifically for colored hair. including some by Dove. I do like the Dove hair products but haven't tried the ones for dyed hair. So try some of those. I'm sure your stylist would tell you to buy something from the shop and not the grocery store or Rite Aid, etc.
    pantene
redken for color treated hair or if your looking for a cheaper brand try herbal essences color me happy. good luck!
Panteen %26amp; Revlon both have great shampoos and conditioners for color treated hair. They have 3 different ones to choose from: Brunette, Blonde %26amp; Redhead.

Not only does it keep the color but it moisterizes your hair and gives it a shine!
    Dove or pantene
    Dove
CHI products. They are more expensive, but you will see the difference plus you can use 1/2 as much.
Garnier Fructis is good for dry hair. now if you should try avocado wraps on your hair at least twice a month that really works. It's a little yucky but good. It's the blow drying that causes split ends and dry hair.
what do u mean in as colored hair??...for dry hair..I use Head and shoulders!..it help keeps the dandruff out and depends on which kind you get to help your hair..I get the kind for oily hair and my mom gets the kind for dry hair...its works!!
the one i use right now is called ';silk elements'; its so perfect. it smells really good, and it makes your hair feel like silk. its realy great for colored hair, cause it dont wash the colors off, it helps it shine and bounce. and it has a shampoo and a conditioner
i honestly LOVE Vo5 shampoo and conditioner. its cheap and its great for your hair. a good trick to moisturize dry hair is while the conditioner is in your hair put it up in a clip for 5- 10 minutes. it really helps.

I absolutely love the John Frieda Frizz Ease Strait Ahead shampoo. You can get it at any drug store or grocery store. It controls your frizz and it does not make it oily. The only thing is that there conditioner is too heavy for me but I have that problem with many conditioners because my hair tends to get oily. If you don't have this problem the conditioner should be fine for you.. I usually just use the shampoo alone and it is wonderful.. This shampoo makes my hair really smooth and gives it a nice shine and it does not weight it down. It's perfect all year round too, I'm very picky with my shampoo so if I like it i suggest you give it a try. Hope this helps:)
I heard that the Garnier Fructis Sleek And Shine products work really well.

Do you think that tresemme makes a good brand of hair products??? Shampoo, conditioner, styling products etc??

Good value of money???Do you think that tresemme makes a good brand of hair products??? Shampoo, conditioner, styling products etc??
I love tresemme! All my hair products are by them. They're amazing. Although they are quite prcey, I definetly think that you're getting what you paid for, because it has such good quality, and makes your hair look absoloutely amazing. I have very curly hair, and ever so often struggle with the frizziness that comes with it, but since I started using Tresemme, my hair has kept to its soft and natural curls, leaving no frizz!Do you think that tresemme makes a good brand of hair products??? Shampoo, conditioner, styling products etc??
I think they are good value for your money, you get a lot and I think the product is above avereage in performance compared to other similarly priced shampoos etc. and it smells really nice.

    I would use it again!
NO. They brag up their product, but when I tried it on my long hair, it made it feel all hard and plastic-y, yuck. I also hated the smell. I was disappointed for sure.
    yes their stuf is great
    Depends on your hair hunny
    over rated, rubbish.

i'm a hairdresser, i go to 4 different hair suppliers to get stuff i need...and not 1 of them stocks tresemme.

';salon quality'; - right i have NEVER seen a salon using them, ever. most salons are using TIGI, Paul Mitchell, Fudge, Matrix, L'oreal, Wella...no tresemme.
Hell no. Try aveda, serisouly. Works magic.
If you want to pay $25-$40 for Aveda, TiGi, Big Sexy Hair or any of those other ';salon'; products, go ahead. But there have been studies that show that drug store hair products are just as good as salon. (Just like drug store cosmetics vs. department store cosmetics.)

I just bought the Tresemme Big Boost Root Lifter and I love it. I have very fine, thin hair. I just spray it on and bend over at the waist to blow dry my hair and it looks great! The other thing I like about it is that the next morning when I wake up, my hair doesnt feel all greasy and gross from hair product. With other products, it felt that way but with the Tresemme, my hair still feels clean the next morning.

    Hope this helps!

Why does the shampoo bottle go up, while the conditioner bottle goes down?

Its been on my mind for ages!! I need to know hahaWhy does the shampoo bottle go up, while the conditioner bottle goes down?
Haha, I was in the shower this morning and noticed that!

It might have something to do with the thickness of the conditioner over the shampoo. Or, it could just be so you can tell the difference between the two if you were blinded because soap was in your eye :)

    Who really knows?

I keep the shampoo bottle upside down though, so it doesn't really matter...Why does the shampoo bottle go up, while the conditioner bottle goes down?
    Great questions,

im going to go with what everyone else has said,

because the conditioner is thicker, and its harder for it to come out unlike shampoo.
    um I THINK

    the conditioner is thicker so the bottle has to be face down so when u open it u dont have to tap it for u to get some u just open n squeeze.. but then the shampoo should be the same :%26lt;
I don't know for sure, but my best guess is that it's because cond. is thicker and takes longer to flow, so if it's already facing down, it will come out quicker!!!

Makes sense to me :) lol!
Good thought, but I'm just not so sure. It could be that you need to use more conditioner to balance the strength of a typical shampoo.

The product price is average in acceptable and reasonable level.
I'm a huge fan of Lush. All of their products are made from fresh ingredients (just a few have synthetics), so the fragrances in them (and they have YUMMY smelling fragrances) are just from the botanical oils, fruits, etc. that they use. They also do not test their products on animals, which is a cool side benefit, too. Some of their shampoos are in bar form, so they don't have a bunch of excess packaging/plastic. Very cool place.

In addition to the shampoos and conditioners, they also have bath bombs, soap, skin care, fragrance, powders, masques. Check out their website.

What ever is in the bathroomPoll: What shampoo/conditioner do you use?
Whatever smell's the yummiest! I do have a bottle of Johnson's baby shampoo %26amp; conditioner combined as I like to use that a couple of times a week 'coz it makes your hair nice and soft and I like the smell of it.Poll: What shampoo/conditioner do you use?
    Aussie volume shampoo, no conditioner.

Leaves my hair light and squeeky clean yet conditioned and softer than anything I've used. I used to need conditioner before switching to Aussie.

They also don't test on animals
I'm always changing ... sometimes it's john frieda , other times it's sunsilk or pantene and other times it's fructis or something tropical ... but most of the shampoos or conditioners I buy are for curly/wavy hair and a dark brown or black hair color
i use a mix of pantene shampoo and conditioner to make my hair soft and shiny and also herbal essences to make my hair smell pretty :)

Shampoo and conditioner for curly hair?

Im going to walmart pretty soon what do you recommend

for curly hairShampoo and conditioner for curly hair?
Herbal Essences Happy Go Loopy. I Love that stuff. It really helps enhance your curls but yet keep the frizz under control. Have fun at Wal Mart*Shampoo and conditioner for curly hair?
You don't want to weigh your hair down, but you want to condition it well at the same time. Most lines carry a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and they name it that way. It depends, is your hair permed or colored? Is it naturally curly? How long is it?

Pantene has a very great product called ';Perfect Curls';.

Great for waves, curls, spirals, you name it.
Uh for really curly hair i have the Motions product line you can get from walmart

and dont forget to get wash off and leave-in conditioner...together works wonders for curly hair.

its always safe to buy products that are all of the same company for the best results.
Matrix sleek look is really good :

    http://www.haircareusa.com/sleek_look.ht…

But then keep the curl shampoo and condititioner is also good:

    http://www.healthyhairplus.com/Keeping-T…

I really like the purple Herbal Essences one, plus it smells really nice. Also, if you have frizz problems (like i do) I always reccomend the pink sunsilk because it is super hydrating but it doesn't weigh down curls!

    OK i hope this helped!
wash hair with shampoo...while ur under the shower comb it with a wide comb then don't touch it after you comb it. get out of the shower and just pat it dry with the towel

when ur pat it dry dont dry it ll the way use some gel or some mousse and some anti frizz if u have any real quick before it drys and frizzes ..and your ready to go!! :)

    hope u look cute!

P.S :option to use hair clips for a decorating touch
Aussie is really good. I also like the waves shampoo by Garnier.
id go for umm, how is it spelt

    lorreal?

    or garnier.

for the fact that those two are better for your hiar.

they dont have sulfates in them.
u shud use dove moisterizing shampoo and conditiner

ur hair will feel soft and healthy
uhhh herbal essences . it works great , but i don't think its for curly hair , but possibly . they have many great kinds .
Skip Wal-mart and go to Sally's beauty supply. Buy ';ion'; products. The are the best.
Cut off a pig's tail and glue it to your head

If you have oily hair can you is it ok to use baby shampoo and conditioner?

It won't do it any harm but it isn't ideal for oily hair. Baby shampoo is all about maintaining the natural oils and not being too harsh on a baby's scalp. It may leave you hair looking a little lank.If you have oily hair can you is it ok to use baby shampoo and conditioner?
trust me, use andreolon anti-roos shampoo. Report Abuse
If you have oily hair can you is it ok to use baby shampoo and conditioner?
There are hundreds of shampoo's and conditioner's. I'm sure you can find one that is better for your hair. The baby stuff is for baby's with really fine/thin hair.

Has anyone tried Mane 'n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner?

    It's a horse shampoo!

    Crazy, I know.

But I heard it gives crazy amazing results, smooth, silky, frizz free, stronger hair after one use? Appearently it helps grow faster too.

So idk, anyone with personal experience?

    Currently:

I'm using Tresemme Smooth %26amp; Silky S%26amp;C , right now , and it cuts down on frizz better than my Straighten Up by Sunsilk shampoo.Has anyone tried Mane 'n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner?
I use it on my horses and the results are amazing, Their mane and tail are so shiny and they don't tangle. So for your hair I guess you could get the same results, it is very greasy though so you might want to use just a tiny bit.Has anyone tried Mane 'n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner?
I tried it, because my dad bought it on sale. (Hes marjorly froogle)

It did improve shine and texture, I guess.

Its not mind-blowing or anything, though.
It work just as well as any shampoo and conditioner. Serious, I used it for months to see if there really was a difference, and there really isn't.
wow, i didn't know it was MADE for horses?!?!?!?!?! my mom used it she had breast cancer and had chemo so she wanted something to make it strong, thick etc and it worked! :)
    never heard of it :[

I love it! It really does make your hair grow faster and longer and healthier.

  • I have wavy hair, what shampoo and conditioner is good for me ? and how often to you change shampoos ?

I have thick wavy hair, and I like using Dove, Sunsilk, Herbal essences, and Aussie. I change my shampoo every time I empty a bottle.I have wavy hair, what shampoo and conditioner is good for me ? and how often to you change shampoos ?
go with one you like. epending on what you want your hair to be like is how you should choose your shampoo. you can stick wit that same shampoo for years unless you yourself discover it's wrecking your hair. go to any drugstore and look at the varieties.

Others Opinion-Is Sunsilk Straighten Up shampoo and conditioner really striaghtens your hair? and how well?

try itOthers Opinion-Is Sunsilk Straighten Up shampoo and conditioner really striaghtens your hair? and how well?
yep, it works for me cause i have straight hair. you need to use the conditioner and 24/7 creme too. you could buy a little pack to try it. i bought it at Krogers. i found it in the soap section instead of the shampoo part so that's kind of odd. if u cant find it try the soap section.Others Opinion-Is Sunsilk Straighten Up shampoo and conditioner really striaghtens your hair? and how well?
i wish i knew cuz my hair looks really cute straightened but i dont like using a straightener cuz it burns my hair
Don't know. I have only used the Anti-Poof, and it works great for me. No more poof.
I have used the sunsilk on for poof, and i think it worked for me. but i would recommend going to www.gethairapy.com and get the free sample.
Nope, they barely do a thing unless your hair is already straight but just has a slight bit of a wave to it. It only slightly relaxes it very temporarily.

Herbal essances totally twisted shampoo/conditioner? or anything similar?

does this shampoo/conditioner only work for curly hair? bc i have stick straight hair and it wont hold a curl (curling iron) for nothing! i would like to add some funk and i like wavy hair but... my hair is really straight but it is also kinda thick. i dont want to get a perm bc i have heard it really damages your hair - is that true? and my hair has no volume. my hair is shoulder length, and i have side swept bangsHerbal essances totally twisted shampoo/conditioner? or anything similar?
My hair is the exact same thing. I want it to have curls, but it won't stay that long. I've tried the shampoo and conditioner that you were talking about and it didn't work for me. It just cleaned it and makes it smell good. Right now, I'm using SunSilk and it's working fine. It's the one for volume and shine. I haven't used the SunSilk one for curly hair but I think you should see how it works for you.Herbal essances totally twisted shampoo/conditioner? or anything similar?
Bumble and Bumble makes a curl shampoo and conditioner that you should try. The extra money will be worth it.

Don't perm your hair ever! It's awful, especially for thick hair. It will dry it out and make it thicker. And you'll just end up with a big poof of frizzy hair.
    try it,

the worst it will do id make your hair alittle wavy,

i dont think it makes a difference

Which shampoo & conditioner expert answer?

Im trying to find a great brand of shampoo %26amp; conditioner but not sure where to start. Ive heard the cheap supermarket products leave residue on your hair, and have even been told my hair is breaking because of this. I tried Avada but cant say i liked it too much as it didnt foam. Are you a hairdresser that can recomend a new product for me. ThanksWhich shampoo %26amp; conditioner expert answer?
Ive been doing hair 7 years and I love all Bed head products. I would reccommend Self Adsorbed Shampoo and Conditioner. It has a lot of vitamins in it to make your hair stronger, plus it leaves it very soft and managable. You'll get a good foam from it too. If your having trouble with your shampoo not foaming, you may want to shampoo twice, because you could either have a little build up or it could be a little oilier than normal.Which shampoo %26amp; conditioner expert answer?
I LOVE Sunsilk shampoos and conditioners. I use pink because it makes my hair so soft and shiny and sleek. My hair is over 4 feet long and long hair is REALLY hard to keep moisturized, but Sunsilk does a great job....better than even the most expensive shampoos that hair salons sell. I also use Sunsilk creme rinse about once a week and another conditioning formula from Sunsilk once a month. That's it and my hair looks better than it did when I was 18. The best part is, for all of this stuff, it costs about 12 dollars a month at the most. If I just used the shampoo and conditioner, it would be about 5 dollars a month. Well worth it for shiny pretty hair.

I'm not a hair dresser, btw. Just have 37 years of experience taking care of really really long hair as I've never cut mine.

BTW, if you want to get build up out of your hair, there are two ways to do it.

    1. Shampoo twice when you shower, one after the other, then condition and leave it in the hair for 20 minutes before you rinse it out.

    2. Use a mild dish detergeant in your hair. THIS does dry it out a little, but will get all that nasty build up off and you can always condition it after and leave in for 20 minutes.

I still prefer the Sunsilk. Easier and gentler on my hair.

    Hope this helps.
ANthign by Bed Head. I was my clients hair with Rock Star. Or Matrix.
You should try ';ION'; you'll find there products in sally beauty supply stores. The product isnt cheap but it works to repair your hair and manage your hair
Um I am not a hairdresser but why not try Head And Shoulders Shampoo? Thats what I use.

  • Which shampoo/conditioner makes your hair soft?

any good products for softer shinier hair. oh and i have thick hair if that helps

feel free to list your personal experiences =DWhich shampoo/conditioner makes your hair soft?
My step mom has really thick hair and loooves redken all soft. I have thin hair so it really weighs my hair down. I use biolage, k-pak and bain de terre products. They all keep my hair in great shape. In addition to salon shampoo and conditioner, I use neutrogena triple moisture deep conditioning mask 1-2 times a week. Deep conditioning really helps. When my hair is wet, before I comb it I always spray it with k-pak reconstructor spray. Which shampoo/conditioner makes your hair soft?
Actually there is a stuff secreted by our own hair which naturally protects our hair. The shampoo mess with it alot, and you make it worse by adding conditioner.

Leave conditioner and use an olive oil just one hour before washing your hair. It will smooth your hair.

But I think you should love your hair as they are. God has given everyone his own identity, including hair structure and colour, and you should be thankful to Him for He chose best for you.

    Thanks.
well, for me being a man, suave 2 in 1 for men

but it's for men for the most part, although i'm sure a women could us it

There are a bunch of diffent lines by herbal essences for all different hair types. It can be found virtually everywhere! I also recently switched shampoos and this is the best I've found yet!
    Aussie's Mega Shampoo
the Suave curl shampoo that is imitation of Redken fresh curls- most of the designer Suave line smells excellent, but the curl shampoo is like a summery cologne.
    i love aussie!!!!
Infusium 23 is a good brand, don't know about how great you would think it smells but it sure is a good brand for hair that needs some strengthening.

Fructus by Garnier is good too. Relatively cheap.

Why are conditioner bottles always smaller than the shampoo?

thier the same sizes. conditioner is thicker so it seems like theirs not as much, when thier really isWhy are conditioner bottles always smaller than the shampoo?
I dunno but it bugs me.Why are conditioner bottles always smaller than the shampoo?
well because when you use shampoo your suppose to use it either twice or three times but for conditioner your only suppose to use it once

    -hope this helps!-
i dont know why but its really annoying. cuz they should last the same amount of time but they never do. well for me anyway.
I don't think you use as much conditioner as shampoo or atleast you shouldnt because if you use as much as you use shampoo it could make your hair really oily. For me, by the time I finish my shampoo bottle I still have half a bottle of conditioner left :]
You don't use as much conditioner. Shampoo says to ';rinse and repete'; while conditionter does not.
Well generally, you don't use as much conditioner as shampoo (or at least I don't).
idk but i hate it! I USE THE SAME AMOUNT OF BOTH!
because you use less conditioner than shampoo

herbal essence has a kind of mango smelling one..it smells really really good;)

    Pantene Texture Shampoo and Conditioner?

Does this product really work? like does it really make your hair look more textured?Pantene Texture Shampoo and Conditioner?
Pantene is awful. It contains Silcone which builds up over time making hair dry and brittle. Sure it may LOOK like it has texture but it's just a wax covering up everything. I would ask your hairstylist what she reccomends. Good luck:o)Pantene Texture Shampoo and Conditioner?
No. Shampoo molecules go into the hair shaft, attach themselves to molecules of dirt and oil, and wash out. So shampoo cleans hair, that is all that it can do. Conditioner deposits minerals into your hair and washes out. So I know that they all advertise that they do amazing things, but shampoo can clean hair and conditioner can repair it. So they cannot add texture. Also, texture is the technical term for your curl pattern, so curly or straight.
No! its a waste of money. you are better of using eggs or mayonnaise.

    Shampoo/conditioner to straighten hair?

Is there any kind of shampoo and/or conditioner to help straighten and relax my hair? I have a huge wave and curls in the front that I can't get rid of without cutting my hair short.Shampoo/conditioner to straighten hair?
There are tons of so-called hair straightening shampoos, and I've tried a few of them. I can tell you they don't work.Shampoo/conditioner to straighten hair?
Matrix Sleek Look smoothing system. Its in an orange bottle and they also have hairspray to. Makes your hair really soft and smooth and smells good.
I was told one time by a sylist that Prell shampoo is so strong that if you leave it in long enough it will act as a perm?
i havent tried it yet...but i heard it was good..

    Marc Anthony's Simply Straight shampoo/conditioner
I agree, straighting shampoos and conditioners do not work, don't waste your money.
u cant straighten ur hair with shampoo. try getting a straightner.
umberto giannini produces an excellent straightening shampoo and conditioner. i'm not entirely sure they'll give you the results you're looking for, but it definitely staightens as advertised. it's not terribly pricey, and it smells nice and clean.
No way only the straighteners can beat it!
    Buy a straightening iron!
Try the shampoo and conditioner from the new Herbal Essences line - it works well and has another straightening product that you can purchase with it. Good luck!

I have the same problem, and I really like Biolage Normalizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It works great, it smells great, and I can run my hands through my hair all day and not feel oily. Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

These products should only be purchased in a professional beauty salon.I have a little bit oily hair. What shampoo and conditioner works best?
Dove Shampoo + Conditioner are really good :)I have a little bit oily hair. What shampoo and conditioner works best?
make sure you are using a shampoo and conditioner that has little to no moisture factor in it. U can use astriping shampoo a couple times a week and that will get rid of any built up product or moisturizers that are left on your hair. That could be that cause of your oilness. So use stuff thats not very greasy ( product wise) and cleansers that are for normal to oily scalp. That clearafyling shampoo will help out alot though GOOD LUCK
You can use almost any shampoo like Dove for oily hair. Just wash your hair more frequently.
    head and shoulders
I have oily hair as well and I use one of the best shampoos and conditioners in stores. You can find it in Wal-Mart and at the commissary. It is called Infusium 23. It really works wonders.
    VO5 Shampoo and Conditioner
Use something that is specifically for that, like Herbal Essences for Oily/Dry/Damaged Hair.

What are some good moisturizing shampoo/conditioners?

I need a good conditioner or shampoo that moisturizes so that it doesn't get so dry. Do you know of any that have worked for you? and not too pricey please. What are some good moisturizing shampoo/conditioners?
you can get both of these at the drugstore or target but pretty cheap I would use vanilla organix shampoo and conditioner with leave in serum too. ($6 each) or for a little more pricey is biolage original. the shampoo is like $13 conditioner is around $17 but really worth the money if you can spring for them a few times a year. What are some good moisturizing shampoo/conditioners?
Herbal Essence is amazing! It's the only conditioner that can handle my dry super thick hair! I use the hydration one (blue bottle) and it's fantastic and my hair smells super.
    Treseme Volumizing

That stuff works reaallly good. %26amp; it's pretty cheap
    I like Pantene Pro-V.

And Sunsilk is pretty good too.

  • Tresemme Curl Moisturizing Shampoo&Conditioner?

Does the Tresemme Curl Moisturizing hair care line ruin or damage hair?

I have wavy/straight ugly hair, and I kinda want it to be curly or at least a bit more of a wave boost, naturally. Will it ruin or damage my hair? I still want to straighten my hair once in a while. Is this okay?

    Thanks.

By no means will tresemme curl moisturizing products will damage your hair. If anything, it will make it more silker becuase curly hair is usually more dryer and frizz prone compared to straight hair. You can definately use these products to give your hair more shape and bounce. You can still straighten your hair as you normally would. There are no harmful chemicals that can ruin you hair... don't worry

    You'll be finee.

No. I also have dark brown wavy straight hair. I use the same product, it has kept my hair very bouncy and it has a lovely fragrance. Try also tresemme volumizing moose, it really keep the hair bouncy and curly, without the white dry residue from other mooses, leaving the hair feeling natural and not stiff. I like to straighten my hair but I like my hair with alot of bouncy volume, I hate flat hair, the moose really helps. I hope I have helped.

    Good Luck.
That I havent researched yet but i will be able to let you know that if you use the seed of the avocado you can get a different taste in your food
