Is it true that people should switch shampoo and conditioner brands at the end of each bottle, if so why is th

Some products, particularly cheap ones, can leave a build up in your hair, so it gets sticky, and so the shampoo can't actually clean the oils from your hair. Therefore, if you use a different one, then you're going to clean away the buildup from the previous brand.

If you use a good shampoo and conditioner, then there's usually no need to make a conscious effort to switch brands. Switch if you notice your hair doesn't feel as clean as it used to, or if it's too dry or greasy feeling. Is it true that people should switch shampoo and conditioner brands at the end of each bottle, if so why is th
Not necessarily - if you notice your hair getting limp or seeming not as clean as previously it may be that you're hair has gotten ';used'; to a particular product. Mind you, this is based only on personal experience. I also find the better products don't seem to have this affect as often. Is it true that people should switch shampoo and conditioner brands at the end of each bottle, if so why is th
It really makes little difference. People used to say that but it made no difference. Stick with whatever works best.
I don't think you should. It depends. What makes your hair is the thing you are using. If it fits you then stick with it. Don't let other foreign substances fly onto your hair. ;P
Caring for Hair

How you take care of your hair depends on the type of hair you have, your lifestyle, and how you style your hair.

Dealing With Hair Problems

Here are some common hair problems - and tips on how to deal with them.
It's a myth. You're hair doesn't become ';immune'; to certain shampoos.

Get a clarifying shampoo once a month. Do it once every two weeks if you've got really oily hair.

You don't want to use it all of the time, though, because your hair will end up stripped of its natural oils which keeps it from breaking.

I use Suave, and my hair is thick and healthy. I've been using the same shampoo and conditioner for seven years.

I eat healthy, too, and that has alot to do with the condition of your hair, as well.

Take care of it from the inside out.
I don't really think it matters. I've been using Brilliant Brunette shampoo for about 3 - 4 months and my hair is really soft and shiny... I guess sometimes I do use Thermasilk, but it's always shiney and soft... so I don't think it matters, just take care of your hair and try not to do too much damage to it with styling products and heat styling.
