I have blonde, thin, medium lenght hair. I also dye it, What is the best shampoo and conditioner for me?Best shampoo and conditioner?
Pureology.
The volume one-its in the pink bottle. It has won a lot of awards for best products.
It will give you volume with out without making your hair feel dried, crunchy, or damaged. It also has a colour protector in your hair to make the colour last longer and not fade. Unlike many other shampoos and conditioners, it does not have any sulfates which blow open the cuticle, damage the hair, and fade the colour. Your hair feels so soft after you use it. Your stylist will love you.
Only buy it from a licensed cosmetologist or a beauty supply, don't buy it from somewhere like Target-that stuff is years old.
It costs a little more that most shampoos because there is a special way to use it. Get your hair totally soaked and your hands wet. Pour only a dime/pea size amount into your hands. Mix it in your hands until it is sudsy and put it on your hair starting at the dirtiest place. Do the same for the conditioner. It costs a little more because it will literally take you a year to finish the regular 8.5 oz shampoo and 10 oz conditioner, if you use it right.Best shampoo and conditioner?

Suave
ive heard the sap moss shampoo by aveda is great !
there are great shampoos at many natural food stores
that help damages hair as well.

i have had my hair frosted for awhile now,and i have used alot of shampoo's and conditioners, and mean alot. but the best i found was suave. they work very well and they don't cost an arm and a leg to buy.they are great.i hope you try them.
pantene blond hair shampoo %26amp; conditioner
Matrix Shampoo and Conditioner
I suggest using something moisturizing with a UV filter so your color won't fade...As far as the drugstore shampoos and conditioners go Loreal Colour Vive is good. If you're willing to pay a little more then Paul Mitchell for color treated hair is great.

My mom bought super skinny shampoo/conditioner but it makes my hair feel greasy?!?
I dont know why but every time I use it in the shower (of course) My hair will just feel very greasy and thick (like how it feels if you put a lot of gel in it) instead of smooth and clean. Why is that?!
PS:
I have long thin hair but i have a ton of it.My mom bought super skinny shampoo/conditioner but it makes my hair feel greasy?!?
Maby your not rinsing it well.
Or maby thats how it is.
Or maby you put too much.
Or maby it was built that way to make your hair better.

It could just be that you'r not rinsing well enough, I've had shampoos do this to me before,
even though it feels like you've rinsed it all out, you haven't, and you just need to rinse for a lot longer, or use a little bit less.
Sometimes though, shampoos just don't agree with your hair, if you try rinisng really well or using less and it doesn't work, then that shampoo probably just isn't best for your hair.

Its personal prefence, but I LOVE : Biolage/Redken/Paul Mitchell/Nexxus, and for chreaper stuff ; Tresseme/Pantene Pro-V.
just experiment until you find what you like.
Love Punk i don't understand your english.
There are special shampoos for people with curly hair. Check out the Redkin line, I think they sell it at Target, as well as salons. I've been using Biolage Hydrating Shampoo for about 14 years, but I have very dry hair. I also use Biolage conditioning balm, which is very thick and my hair is never frizzy. Put some products in while your hair is still wet. I like Alterna's Straightening Balm because I have naturally curly hair.

really you have to know more about your hair. Do you have an oily scalp or a dry one? Straight or curly?
some products you should never use
Pantene - panthenol is bad for your hair and guess what its full of? It will weigh your hair down and some people had static problems with it.
Head and Shoulders - dry dry dry dry. This stuff caused flakes on me and a few other people I know.
Some awesome brands that I like.
Redkin - great stuff (think I spelled it wrong). very very high class stuff.
Paul Mitchell - also great stuff thats high class.
Generic - yes its a brand very similar to PM but cheaper.
Aussie - good smell plus it left my hair nice and tangle free. I am currently using it. cheap too
TRESemme - spelled wrong too? It is cheap like aussie and I basically got the same results from it. However it has more of a salon smell. Usually around the same price as Aussie too.
also you can try making your own stuff. I use a mix between Aussie and stuff I make at home. I usually use Aussie when I know my boyfriend will be over soon (so I spell pretty) and homemade stuff when he won't be around for a while (so usually).
EDIT: also main N tail (also called Main N tail %26amp; Body). Very cheap and an awesome conditioner and shampoo. I used it for years and my hair was very long and soft. However sometimes it can be hard to find.
BUMBLE %26amp; BUMBLE. i swear by this. im telling you, it's so worth the high price. try the Gentle shampoo and the SuperRich conditioner.
Biolage is just as good. their shampoo will do amazing things to your hair!
so is Paul Mitchell. especially his conditioners. good luck!
Tresemme Anti-Breakage is a really good conditioner. Its smells good and makes your hair really soft! I would recommend a tea tree oil shampoo, it usually works well with any hair type and is really good for your scalp.
PAUL MITCHELL SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS ARE THE BEST.. THEY ALSO HAVE GOOD HAIR TREATMENTS FOR DAMAGED HAIR AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THEY ARE KINDA EXPENSIVE BUT IT WORKS SO I THINK IS WORTH IT!!
John Frieda's Root Awakening.
it's great for sensitive, dry, weak hair, and smells delish.
:)

I find a really good shampoo/conditioner , and after using it for a month or so, it makes my hair greasy, why?
Phwooooaaarr - you are gorgeous! Anyway, as with everything, initial exposure to something new will provide better results than continued usage. If we were ever to meet, it would be great for about 8 years, then you would get bored and move on.
You can find me on h mail if you wanna try it out!I find a really good shampoo/conditioner , and after using it for a month or so, it makes my hair greasy, why?
my hairdresser told me you should switch regularly
i buy a couple of brands and switch every washI find a really good shampoo/conditioner , and after using it for a month or so, it makes my hair greasy, why?
Do you know that you are not suppose to use the same
shampoo all the time, you are suppose to switch off between two diffrent shampoo's and conditioners.
Try using a natural shampoo - one without all Sodium Laurel Suphate and other chemicals - and you may see an improvement.
Actually - most people don't realise their hair, unlike their skin, is self-cleaning - just rinse with water.
Our bodies are often better without additives being added - your everyday deodorant contains aluminium derivatives - whereas there are natural ones available.
My hair and scalp really suffered using 'normal' shampoo and my skin suffered with various deodorants - until I switched. Don't think ';The Body Shop'; will supply what you want - theirs have pretty much every additive - but in smaller bottles at higher prices. ;-)
It could be what you're eating as what you feed you're body reflects in the condition of your hair and skin.
I had the same problem all the time and have gone through loads of different shampoos and conditioners (find the seperate ones best) How often do you wash your hair??? I was washing and conditioning mine every morning and by the end of the day it looked greasy, Stopped washing it so often but dropped down to every two days and havent had problems since.
Maybe you're Italian
Yes, this seems a common problem. I don't know if this will help you personally but I have found an occasional shampoo using SureCare Sensitive (found in the household section of a supermarket) really does get a beautiful shine back to my hair, squeaky clean in seconds, no repeat shampooing needed. A good conditioner afterwards and my hair feels and looks brilliant!
Build-up. Once a week or so use a stripping type shampoo. You can use something like Nutrogena or you could use something super cheap like Prell. Prell is so tough it could be used to strip wax off a floor.
Just try using a variety of brands and alternating through them, or I beleive fruictus(spelling) has a shampoo out for hair just like yours check it out.
You become used to the product, so it no longer has the same effect. Change the products you use regularly to avoid this happening.
I know I go through this, Try using a few different shampoos every day, I usually have 3 in my shower to choose from:
I not sure why this happens I think your hair just gets bogged down with th esame chemicals and just reacts weird!
Try this it helps, and your hair always look great !
Your hair gets used to it, you should change the shampoo you use every few months
Most products are petroleum based. It builds up on the hair. Aveda is a great line, they don't use petroleum.
make sure after the conditioner wash off really well some time left over condition leave your hair look and feel greasy,if that don't work just change the brand of shampoo and condition.
This is a little confusing, but there is a certain type of bacteria in your hair (dont worry, everyone has them) that causes it to grease up, like a couple days after you dont take a shower. Once you start a new shampoo, your hair bactria is shocked by this an basicly goes away. Then, over a time pierod, your hair bacteria will mutate and devolop an imunity to the new shampoo cleaning power. This happened to me too. Until I tried Brilliant Brunette. It really works and is worth the 10 dollars.
Who cares...you would still look stunning anyway.
Make sure you rinse thoroughly
Just get a fewe of them %26amp; switch off every now %26amp; then. Rinse well, you may have very soft water. Sometimes that feels like it never rinses soap off...
probably i thing the shamboo not supporting your hair...........i mean some shamboos don't support....any way ask any hairdresser
you are probably not washing it properly
same reason most people have to change their deodorant every few months, your body just gets used to the product. Try changing up your routine by switching the combo once or twice a week. And you're not washing your hair every day are you? That strips all the natural oils out and your glands will most likely overproduce oil to compensate for the loss.
