Do you use conditioner before or after shampoo?

Serious question.Do you use conditioner before or after shampoo?
after because

shampoo washes out all the oil and dirt and stuff

and conditioner conditions your hair and makes it feel softDo you use conditioner before or after shampoo?
After.
AFTER!

O_____O!

Read the instructions :P
After.

Serious answer.
after, thats what it says on the back of the bottle hahaha

answer mine back?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
i wash my hair then ';wash'; it with conditioner then let the conditioner sit
i use it after
after

Shampoo just cleans the hair. Conditioner seals in moisture which hair needs.
After, silly.
For me, after. That's how it should be for most people.

Some people benefit from doing a condition-wash-condition (CWC), where they use a light conditioner first to soften the hair, then shampoo, then condition with something heavier.
after
After.

It helps condition (obviously) and soften the hair while repairing some damage. Its good to use after because shampoo dries out the hair like soap does to the skin
seriously, after.
After.

I read the directions.
after you shampoo and leave it on for a few minutes. But if your hair is really dried out course or split ends, get a good conditioner and cover your hair good and then cap it or use a plastic bag, leave on over night then shampoo in the morning wow...what a difference.
after. what is the point of using it if you are going to wash it out?!
after. conditioner is used to smooth your hair after, so it would make sense to use it afterwards.
after...unless i accidentally put it on before the shampoo lol (then it's before and after!)

How many of you are nyle shampoo users and u do not use conditioner?

well i'm a green nyle user and i do not use a conditioner............because if i use it ,my hair gets weighed down or in some cases freeze out.

but i'd like to know if not using a condotioner will psoe for any damage in the long run.

i ahve long hair. How many of you are nyle shampoo users and u do not use conditioner?
I use it fine ok.

Which shampoo and conditioner is good for my dull, dry, rough and long hair pentene, dove or sansilk?

none of those did anything for my hair. especially sunsilk (well for me personally).

these are some i recommend:

tresemme moisture rich - it moisturizes your hair SO much its crazy. if you use a lot of conditioner you get a great deal too cause its only a few dollars for a 32 oz. bottle.

aussie moist - they use natural ingredients and the shampoo and conditioner work really well together. the shampoo is wicked moisturizing and thick.

herbal essences long term relationship - i'm using this at the moment and i love it. a lot of people say herbal essences is bad for your hair but it's working great with mine. i have barely any split ends and it tames the frizzies and makes it really soft.

herbal essences hydralicious reconditioning - AMAZING CONDITIONER. i just finished it but needed to switch it up. i haven't heard any bad reviews about it.

hope i helped with your decision!Which shampoo and conditioner is good for my dull, dry, rough and long hair pentene, dove or sansilk?
Sunsilk is definitely the best one out of all of those. Use either the pink one which is the TLC, or the Volume one that is yellow. (: Pantene is horrible for your hair. I dunno about Dove, but I don't think it's that good either. Can I recommend some shampoos to you? The ones I have used and loved are:

TRESemme Smooth and Silky Shampoo and conditioner (using it right now, absolutely love it. Makes your hair sooo soft! It's 6 dollars for about one liter of product, so it's an awesome deal. Proven to be the best drugstore s+c out there. Used in salons and on Project Runway.)

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship (Smells amazing, makes your hair soft, makes it feel thicker. Just don't use it everyday, or it makes your hair feel kind of limp.)

Herbal Essences Hydralicious Self-targeting (Smells really really nice, makes your hair unbelievably soft. Only thing is it made my hair shed more then usual so I don't use it often. Only when I want wicked soft hair.)

Good luck!Which shampoo and conditioner is good for my dull, dry, rough and long hair pentene, dove or sansilk?
I think out of them three the best is dove an sunsilk - apparantly pantene is really bad for youur hair .

i also looove v05 and schwarskoph (duno how to spell) i had really grose dry hair but after using that (i used oil nutritive shampoo conditioner for no split ends) and it was great (:

youu should try it
The one that I would recommend is Garnier Frutis Moisturizing or Pantene PRO-v daily removal. I too have dull, dry, rough, frizzy long hair because I use a flat iron everyday. Both, shampoo and conditioner work but from my experience Pantene is a little bit more oily than Garnier Frutis.
ok lets go threw every drug store shampoo n conditionar

panteen-terrible it gives off the apperence that ur hair is healthy but when it will do in the long run is thin out ur hair nad give you a ton of split ends

dove- nothing special but nothing bad

sunsilk -pirce a little high but dose exactly what you want ((their leave in creams are amazing))

herbal essence - pretty much the same as panteen but with sent

head%26amp;shoulders - smells terribled good for scalp but not very good for dandruf

treseme- best for your money works very well and is good for your hair

aussie- love it or hate it it will either do wounders for your hair or it will be terrible

garnnier(sp)- same as dove there is nothign special about it but i heard deep conditionrs dont work

suve/v05- you get what you pay for cheap price u get basics so its not gonna help with your issue
Pantene, no.

Dove shampoo, not really.

I like

Clairol Herbal Essenses

Loreal products....pink bottle, cant remember the name.

Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose conditioner will work wonders.
Dove. the moisture kind is the best. Pantene is bad and sunsilk is okay. garnier 3 minute masque would be your best helper though.
try hair oil; it really works! put it on at nite before bed and wake up and shampoo it off. usually coconut hair oil works the best but try others to suit ur hair
None of them are that great but out of the three I would say Dove.
neither. Use hair one from sally's beauty supply

What shampoo/hair conditioner combination do u like to use?

John FriedaWhat shampoo/hair conditioner combination do u like to use?
IT'S ALWAYS BETTER NOT TO MIX DIFFERENT SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER BRANDS, AS MOST OF THEM USE DIFFERENT AMOUNTS/TYPES OF INGRIDIENTS, AND THEREFORE U WON'T GET THE SAME RESULTS THAN IF U WERE TO USE THE SAME BRAND OF SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. HOWEVER, IF U CHOOSE TO DO SO ANYWAYZ, THEN IT'S BEST TO USE A REALLY GOOD, DEEP CONDITIONER, I E: PANTENE PRO V, PAUL MITCHELL, KERASTASE, MATRIX, WITH ANY SHAMPOO OF YOUR CHOICE, AS THESE CONDITIONERS ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO WORK WITH JUST ABOUT ANY TYPE OF SHAMPOOWhat shampoo/hair conditioner combination do u like to use?
i use the special stuff from the salons because they told me my hair was damaged because i use stuff from lik walmart and stuff...so yeah, they said it coats ur hair in wax and suffocates it =[ but that could only be me lol!

Favorite Shampoo and Conditioner? Other hair products?

Any kind works. I'm probably looking for something a bit on the cheap side for drier hair. I also straighten my hair but I wear it curly too. So I guess what are your favorite products for all your hair needs? Talk to me!Favorite Shampoo and Conditioner? Other hair products?
I just discovered ';Sunsilk'; shampoos and conditioners. It is wonderful! I straighten my hair with a flat iron, so I have done some damage to my ends. The Sunsilk seems to make it healthier. My favorite is ';anti-esponja';, this particular one is for spanish hair and has avocado in it. But my daughter has frizzy curly hair and I get her the anti-frizz one and it works great!!!! Oh! And it is less than $3 a bottle at Walmart.Favorite Shampoo and Conditioner? Other hair products?

  • Is it true that people should switch shampoo and conditioner brands at the end of each bottle, if so why is th

Some products, particularly cheap ones, can leave a build up in your hair, so it gets sticky, and so the shampoo can't actually clean the oils from your hair. Therefore, if you use a different one, then you're going to clean away the buildup from the previous brand.

If you use a good shampoo and conditioner, then there's usually no need to make a conscious effort to switch brands. Switch if you notice your hair doesn't feel as clean as it used to, or if it's too dry or greasy feeling. Is it true that people should switch shampoo and conditioner brands at the end of each bottle, if so why is th
Not necessarily - if you notice your hair getting limp or seeming not as clean as previously it may be that you're hair has gotten ';used'; to a particular product. Mind you, this is based only on personal experience. I also find the better products don't seem to have this affect as often. Is it true that people should switch shampoo and conditioner brands at the end of each bottle, if so why is th
It really makes little difference. People used to say that but it made no difference. Stick with whatever works best.
I don't think you should. It depends. What makes your hair is the thing you are using. If it fits you then stick with it. Don't let other foreign substances fly onto your hair. ;P
    Caring for Hair

How you take care of your hair depends on the type of hair you have, your lifestyle, and how you style your hair.

    Dealing With Hair Problems

Here are some common hair problems - and tips on how to deal with them.
It's a myth. You're hair doesn't become ';immune'; to certain shampoos.

Get a clarifying shampoo once a month. Do it once every two weeks if you've got really oily hair.

You don't want to use it all of the time, though, because your hair will end up stripped of its natural oils which keeps it from breaking.

I use Suave, and my hair is thick and healthy. I've been using the same shampoo and conditioner for seven years.

I eat healthy, too, and that has alot to do with the condition of your hair, as well.

Take care of it from the inside out.
I don't really think it matters. I've been using Brilliant Brunette shampoo for about 3 - 4 months and my hair is really soft and shiny... I guess sometimes I do use Thermasilk, but it's always shiney and soft... so I don't think it matters, just take care of your hair and try not to do too much damage to it with styling products and heat styling.
