i keep on hearing people say they get build-up from their shampoo and conditioner. what do they mean by thatWhat is shampoo/conditioner build-up?
After about a week, your hair has product build-up that regular shampoos, can't wash out.
So about every week or 2 use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner to get the built up products washed out! ie: gels, mousses, hairsprays
;o)What is shampoo/conditioner build-up?
1. The shampoo and the conditioner is too oily for their hair and it makes their hair oily and flat.
2. When you use the same kind of shampoo and conditioner for too long, they get a build up of the oils and minerals that are in the shampoo/conditioner making it oily and flat as well.
Best thing to do for shampoo and conditioner build up, is to get two kinds of shampoo/conditioner and switch the ones you use every week. (I know some people who do it everyday)
When you scratch your head you can look in your fingernails and see white stuff thats dead scalp cells and shampoo goes into the hair folicule causing it to build up so its nice to have a clarifying shampoo to get rid of all the build up!
