One of the biggest problems with thick hair is the associated itchy, flaky scalp. This is often caused by insufficient rinsing during the shampooing process, which can leave behind a residue of 'soap' on the scalp. Conditioner (which seals down the outside of the hair making it smooth and easy to comb) will then seal any remaining 'soap' to your scalp. Simply rinse for longer.





If you ever suffer from a dry flaky scalp, it is not recommend to use a ';2 in 1'; type of product as we feel that these build up in your hair because there is no rinse in between.
i swear by timotei for all hair! but thats just my opinion :-)
any product you can buy in a salon will be the best......make sure you look for specifics like ........deep conditioning..............you can also use hot oil treatments to help your dry hair......vo5 worked good for me......good luck!!
My daughter has that kind of hair and the best thing I think is the leave in conditioners for dry hair.
