Tresemme moisture rich shampoo/conditioner?

I've been using Tresemme moisture rich shampoo and conditioner for about a week now. My hair is really dry and a bit damaged and I was thinking it would help. I'm going to get my hair cut next month and I was wondering if my hair wouldn't be dry or damaged anymore by that time? Also, how long would it take to repair my hair if I keep using Tresemme?Tresemme moisture rich shampoo/conditioner?
You can't undamage your hair. It's not a living part of your body and it cannot heal itself. But you can moisturize it.

I've never used Tresemme products, but I am a conditioner whore. My method to increase the benefits of any conditioner: smear it through your hair librally and then blast it with a hair dryer for a couple of minutes. The heat helps it absorb. Then rinse. Hot showers dry out your hair. Try washing your hair in water that's as cool as you can stand. Most stylists reccommend washing out only 90% of your conditioner. Leaving a little on helps protect your hair. Try not to wash your hair everyday. If you've gotta, you gotta though. In that case, wash only the hair next to your scalp and then condition all of it.

Another great method--one my Italian great grandmother swore by--is to heat up a little olive oil. Maybe 20 secs. in the microwave: you don't wanna burn the house down. Rub the oil into the ends of your hair, and then pile it loosely on your head. Go about your business--preferably on a saturday when you don't have to leave the house. Wash it out in a couple of hours.Tresemme moisture rich shampoo/conditioner?
Nothing will repair the damage already done, get the cut now then maintain the healthy hair with lots and lots of conditioning products, my hair is down to my waist, and i never use any products on my hair other then shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and shine spray, i get my hair cut about once a year and my stylist barely has to trim 1/4 inch off, because there just isn't any damage.

oh yeah when you condition in the shower use warm water to wet then use as cold as you can stand to rinse, the warm opens the follicles to allow the conditioner in and the cold closes the follicles to keep it in.
I personally don't like tresemee, because it made my hair greasy or dry, very annoying. But it is different for all hairtypes.

Your hair shouldn't be dry or damaged by that time, as the shampoo and conditioner should of started working, but lay off the hair dryer, straighteners, curlers, crimpers etc lol what ever you use on your hair stop using them, go natural ! It is the heat from hair appliances that frys your hair AND damages it, also makes it go dry. You could also try Tresemee Heat Defense Spray - If you don't want to stop using your hair appliances.
a great way to deep condition your hair is to use a colesterol cream in it .. it is very cheap you can get it at the dollar store for about 2 dollars ... put a glob in ur hair and wrap a plastic bad around your hair for about 20 minutes .. ur hair will be very conditioned

I really don't think that Tressemme can REPAIR the damage. However there are many hair care products available for dry/damaged hair on the market today that can help your hair by smoothing the appearance. Your best bet would be to determine the cause of the damage to your hair and prevent it. Then go get that cut, sometimes your hair just needs a fresh edge to solve damage problems. Then use the products to enhance the appearance.
