I don't want to have to cut the tangles out of my hair.My hair is severly tangled. i've tried the detangling shampoo %26amp; conditioner and it's not working what can i do
STEPS:
1.Take a detangling conditioner or pre shampoo treatment, apply alot to your hair.
2. Take a wide tooth comb, and comb your hair END TO ROOTS.
3. While rinsing hair out comb with a shower/wide tooth comb.
4. Shampoo hair with a moisturizing shampoo, comb through hair with the comb, and while rinsing hair use wide tooth comb.
5. Repeat steps while conditioning.
6. Immediately after washing hair put a detangling leave-in on hair, and style. You have long enough hair for a wet set, rollers a whole range, you could even flat iron. If you don't want to air dry use a super adsorbent microfiber towel.

comb it out wit a brush
Patience! Start at the bottom using a wide tooth comb. Once you get the bottom two inhces or so detangled with the wide tooth, use a finer toothed comb. Then go back to the wide tooth and go up another two inches. Might take a while.
I spent about 45 minutes taking the tangles out of my 6-year-old's hair after her friend had ';braided'; it. Patience, small sections, bottom up. Good luck.
perm it
when ur hair is wett try a wide toothed brush and then go smalller and smaller till you get to a comb sizee
I had this happen once after I took my braids out. There is no fast solution. Get a couple of friends over and some spray bottles of diluted leave-in conditioner. Slowly comb out the tangles, starting at the bottom and move up to the roots. It takes time, but they will come out. Be patient. Good luck!
Use the best conditioner (like the stuff you use in the shower) you have on hand, and use tons of it on your hair. Wrap in a towel and leave in for 1-2 hours... Then take a shower. Your hair may look a little greasy but its better than cutting it out. Then just brush as lightly as you can. It may take a while, and it probably will hurt. In the future, Cowboy magic (its a horse detangler) works awesome for detangling.
