If I was a passenger on one of those planes that forced me to give up those things, someone would be reimbursing me. If someone wants it bad enough and is smart enough they are going to blow up that plane regardless of the ';security'; measures? These measures are asinine at best, and at worst political scare tactics; what happened to not living in fear? There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough and while safety is important, I am not going to give those who wish me harm the control, because lets face it--that is exactly what we have done. It has gone past the point of reasonable safety measures to the absurd. No wonder the airlines are going bankrupt--people are just tired of the hassle--I say we should start a class action law suit to stop honest Citizens from this type of harassment and communistic like rules.Does anyone really believe that taking away my shampoo, conditioner and lotion will stop a terrorist threat?
i agree totally, all these scare tactics are pointless .... if someone half-way intelligent wants to blow up a plane they will figure a way to do it period.... and think about this for a second .... what is the big deal with planes? sure its spectacular to blow a plane but if you have an extremist group ready to die really they could do any number of other things that makes much more sense if they just want to cause death and destruction .... if 9 terrorists armed with totally legal-bought semi-auto rifles busted into a mall they could literally kill hundreds of people before they were taken out .... oops , better ban all guns now to .... come to think about it they could bust into a church with knives and hack everyone up to .... better ban the knives to .... the whole scare-tactic thing is just to keep people scared and subordinate to the ';war on terror'; which is a crazy idea in itself because anyone can be a terrorist .... especially if they happen to live where there is lots of oil.
.. here is another thing to chew on ... 3 or 4 trained guys could take over a plane without weaponsDoes anyone really believe that taking away my shampoo, conditioner and lotion will stop a terrorist threat?
Yes I do.If it's going to be for safety. How can you worry about these trivial things when so many lives are in danger? We really need to be patient in times like this.
It will keep you from mixing explosives on the plane. Any other questions?
I say, you got a U.S. passport?, you bring your toothpaste and shampoo on the plane. The French probably don't use it anyway. Everyone else can buy it at the overpriced airport vending machines ($$$) provided by U.S. companies once their plane arrives. Everyone's Happy (,:)
Have you ever tried mixing them together? They make an explosive combination!!
Rocky, Rocky, Rocky...using that logic we should issue guns to all passengers and just hope they are all good people. No safety measures are unreasonable. I think I would give up my shampoo to potentially save lives, or speed up security, or take away another of their weapons. I would rather ne hassled than killed.
the reason they won't let any of that on the planes is because individual chemicals can be combined to create explosives and they don't want to take any chances. so for the time being what they're doing is taking precautionary measures and you should be thankful for it. i mean, if you want to get on a plane that's likely to blow up because people like you don't want to waste a few more minutes in security, be my guest.
Does this thought come to your mind, ';The Good Have To Suffer For The Bad'; it should because that is what we were all thought and that is why the world is like it is, scared that someone will get killed and had they checked the shampoo bottle they could have prevent it. Now that person lost his job, because of the shampoo bottle, when really all the people flying have to do is fly naked and when the reach their distention buy some clothes, good luck!!
Wah, wah, wah...What a baby you are. The terrorist attack was uncovered this morning!! For crying out loud, give officials a day or two to sort things out. I'm sure restrictions will let up eventually.
They knew the terrorists were planning to bring liquids on the planes to blow it up.
Not letting people get on the plane with liquids seems to be a reasonable response, to me.
I'd rather give up anything replaceable than my life!! While I'm sure there is no perfect formula for safety, not taking steps to remove what you KNOW to be dangerous would be disasterous! We can all find something to complain about if we really want to, but our very existance is being plotted against as we sleep peacefully, and take our way of life for granted. I am glad ';someone wants it bad enough and is smart enough'; to keep coming up with more ';security'; measures. I say anyone who would blow themselves up so as to cause the deaths of as many people as they can is ';ABSURD'; ! So it must take absurd actions to thwart such hatred. I feel that fighting for the right to safely go about doing my thing is taking control. ';Let's face it';, being blown the hell up , or getting '; a cap busted in the OLD DO BUSINESS'; is the ultimate harassment!!!!!
It is better to be safe than sorry. They are trying to tell people ahead of time so they can pack them in the baggage, not the overhead. People are able to bring on liquids in these bottles to make bombs. I would rather buy my own bottle of soap or whatever then having another terrorist attack.
Here's an idea. Since they post ahead of time what you may and may not bring aboard the plane, why not pre-prepare and pack all your liquids in your suitcase.
It's to protect everyone from the potential nutcases who would like to kill everyone.
I think there should be maybe two planes set aside to carry all the people who think the new restrictions are a bad idea. That way, if more terrorists (LIKE THE ONES WHO WERE JUST CAUGHT) want to bring their liquid explosives on board and blow up the plane, they'll only be blowing up people who thought their shampoo was worth the risk.
Oh, and I guess you'll need a pilot or two who must have thier hair gel with them, also.
edit: From what I've read, you're not allowed to bring the liquids into the airplane cabin. You can still pack them in your suitcase and check them in.

Which is better Joico, Rusk, or pureology. I need a shampoo and conditioner for fine dry hair any suggestions.
something that will leave my hair super softWhich is better Joico, Rusk, or pureology. I need a shampoo and conditioner for fine dry hair any suggestions.
Pureology is def. the better one out of those 3. but an olive oil shampoo/conditioner would work much better and it's probably cheaper.Which is better Joico, Rusk, or pureology. I need a shampoo and conditioner for fine dry hair any suggestions.
brocoto cloud 9 miracle repair treatment shampoo and the conditioner is AMAZING! doesn't weigh your hair down or make it so soft that you can't style it. trade secret or hair cosmopolitan in my mall have it.
JOICO, it works so well, it makes my hair look so beautiful and soft.
I think JOICO.

Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?
Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?
Will it make my hair smoother, softer, or seem healthier?
Is it good for dry and damaged hair? Will it make dry and damaged hair feel softer, smoother? Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?
I don't like it because it doesn't make my hair soft, it makes it dry! Go with Garnier that stuff is great. Is dove shampoo/conditioner good?
I haven't really used it consistently in order to get lasting results, but from what I've seen, it nourishes really well and makes hair look and feel all around healthier and softer....
With as little use I've given it, I'm not considered a reliable source, but I would recommend it to anyone with damaged or dry hair.
Especially if you're someone who gets a lot of sun, or goes swimming a lot. (in both chlorine and ocean water)
i straighten my hair everyday, and i use dove...it makes my hair light, reallyyy soft and silky, and i highly recommend dove! haha, i even have friends who pet my hair like every day because its so soft!
:)
Pantene works better.
I've even seen it on Good Morning America lol.
I remember they were seeing which shampoo worked better and Pantene got that spot.
I guess Dove is good but not as good as Pantene Pro V.
Hope I helped.
Yesss, thats what i use because i straighten my hair everyday. and dove helps it not to get damaged, plus its always soft and silky.
:)

Survey : What Shampoo & Conditioner do you use ?
I use Matrix Biolage Shampoo and Conditioner for color treated hair. Makes my hair awesome. A little pricey, but it works. I was having problems finding a decent shampoo/conditioner that left my hair nice, so I don't mind paying it. The other stuff used to work...guess my hair decided to get picky. Lol. Smells awesome too!!Survey : What Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner do you use ?
I just buy the cheapest possible Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner from Aldi's and rinse my hair through afterwards with a mixture of about 2 inches of white vinegar in a 2 litre bottle filled with warm water ~ my hair actually turns out the glossiest and shiniest it has ever been .......... reason being, the commercial varieties of shampoos and conditioners (for those of us who can't afford organic) leave a chemical residue that eventually builds up and leaves you with dull, lifeless and lank hair ..................... the vinegar and warm water solution simply cleanses all the gunk off your hair and gives you shiny lustrous locks ............ if you're gonna try it make sure you close your eyes and rinse your face thoroughly before opening them or it may sting your eyes♥

I use boots brand, coconut and almond shampoo and conditioner. For anyone with dry coloured hair it is gentle and very moisturising. It's not expensive and the leave-in conditioner is so nice and gives that coco nutty smell.

What would happen if i put shampoo or conditioner in my hair without it being wet? would it mess it up?
not neccessarily
it will probably act as a Moisturizer
but once it hits water it'll be reeeaally soapyWhat would happen if i put shampoo or conditioner in my hair without it being wet? would it mess it up?
it won't mess it up unless you leave shampoo in there; it'll dry your hair out
it'll me kind of like gel...except that it doesn't ';soak'; into your hair - it'll just be..there
the conditioner will make your hair greasy and oily thoughWhat would happen if i put shampoo or conditioner in my hair without it being wet? would it mess it up?
No it wouldnt. It would just be messy. There are dry powder shampoo's though
No. I've done it before. It feels a little weird, but I don't think there are any serious problems associated with it. Just...you know...don't do it all the time :)
I jusi want to know y u would do that
And left it in there, or put it in there dry and then rinsed it out? I don't get it? I guess if you put it in there and then rinsed it out it would still get the job done, but I'm not really sure why you would want to do that.
that just really dont make any sense. it would work the same way as it would if your hair were wet when you do actually wet it but its not gonna lather up when your applying it and it will when you wet it tho and it will take longer to get it out of your hair.

Shampoo and conditioner for dry, damaged hair?
which one is the best that i can get at a retail store ?Shampoo and conditioner for dry, damaged hair?
John Frieda Root Awakening is the bestttttt
they make it for dry/ damaged hair tooShampoo and conditioner for dry, damaged hair?
I have the same problem as you. I hear Head %26amp; Shoulders is really good, even if you don't have dandruff. It moisturizes a lot.
*You shouldn't use Pantene because it has silicone in it: it wears your hair down for a few days so it's sleek but later it's a mess. Trust me, I know.
Also, shampoos with alchohol in it tend to make your hair more dry, so check the ingredients.
Aussie DEEEEEEP Conditioner
It's a 3 minute miracle

What is better, shampoo or conditioner?
shampoo: ';i clean the hair';
conditioner: ';i leave it silky and smooth';
you seem confused so maybe you should buy some pert plus.
some manufacturers make conditioning shampoos. i like shampoos, they have the better smells. What is better, shampoo or conditioner?
shampoo because it gets your hair clean, conditioner just makes your hair soft and managable. What is better, shampoo or conditioner?
your ment to use both!!!
shampoo cleans ur hair and conditionor makes it rllly nice....i use shampoo...wash it out....then use conditionor...and rinse it out
shampoo. read the bottle...it cleans
rather have clean hair than soft and shiney, oily hair that would really already be shiney
shampoo cleans
conditioner conditions
conditioner doesnt clean
and you need both
Shampoo takes the dirt out of your hair. Conditioner softens your hair. So BOTH of them are good.
oooo....hard one...shampoo cleans....but conditioner softens and smooths.....conditioner i think is better because its the reason any man enjoys to run their fingers through a women's hair... :)
Well if you don't wash your hair, there is no use in conditioning it. So I would say shampoo. You have to clean the funk out of it from time to time.
Well you need to use shampoo or your hair will get greasy and conditioner is good for knots and to give your hair a silky look and to make your hair shiny wash it in cold water.
well, you can't have one without the other.. you need shampoo to wash it and you need conditioner to make it soft..
they are two completly different things.......shampoo washes your hair and conditioner conditions....you need them both...if you just wash you will have hard to manage hair...if you just condition you will have greasy looking hair.
oh i don't use it my hair is like man so i use body wash
Shampoo is better...it is nicer and very well behaved!!!!
